Might try adjusting the zoom level,I know this helps many people! also try disabling walking sound I know a few people this helped also!I'm not gonna lie. i really like the features of the new client and pincos is really well thought out. problem for me is the graphics give me a headache after a while.
I have never seen it do that1 where is that? also I like the pic of the EC lions rear end better than the cc in cc it looks all wrinkledAnd this is what I see. Meh (supposed to be animated water) =/

We don't have lions in game that I'm aware of.I have never seen it do that1 where is that? also I like the pic of the EC lions rear end better than the cc in cc it looks all wrinkled
it was early I just woke up lol!We don't have lions in game that I'm aware of.
This doesn't work for over 4 years now.Yes the zoom and size to be set to optimum makes a big difference. The macro is very simple to make to get it to the proper zoom.
http://stratics.com/community/threads/command-scripts.149410/
Post #6 on that page explains what to put in the command line of the macro script. I changed mine and it sure did make a difference.
Why exactly? It uses the CC tileset, so 90% of the screen should look the same.problem for me is the graphics give me a headache after a while.
Agreed. It may be for the best however as if we ever got Pincos with the CC, I might never leave the house.im not gonna lie. i really like the features of the new client and pincos is really well thought out. problem for me is the graphics give me a headache after a while.
I'd rather have cartoonish textures that aren't washed out in an attempt to look "natural" and "random."I love many of the features of EC, but I can't handle the general environment graphics. I actually end up getting a headache or nauseated when I have used it for any length of time.
I gave up on trying. It just isn't good. And this is what I see. Meh (supposed to be animated water) =/

Because there'd be like 10 players left. Who'd even be around to post?Seriously the CC needs to just be &$#!@*$ dropped and none of this crap would be posted.
In the last State of UO address, Bonnie said half of players use EC.Because there'd be like 10 players left. Who'd even be around to post?
hmm I wonder if this has to do with the current publish we waiting on ? if after this goes live and it still does this make a bug report and I will approve it right awayall the white lava tiles from the primevil lich area show up red in the enhanced client instead of white like they're supposed to be
Maybe if you don't like the game's client, REAL client, you should run along back to WoW or whatever shiny thing you'd rather be playing. In the last State of UO address, Bonnie said half of players use EC.
Maybe if people would stop living in the late 90's with the 2D joke client, the developers would have more incentive to make EC better.
This is true and in the EC if you have your circle of transparency on most animated anythings vanish. I haven't seen my fountains of life in years.all the white lava tiles from the primevil lich area show up red in the enhanced client instead of white like they're supposed to be
Yeah cause every time I run the EC I think I've turned on a TV by mistake! They're all cartoonishI'd rather have cartoonish textures that aren't washed out in an attempt to look "natural" and "random."
and the other half use the classic client. In the last State of UO address, Bonnie said half of players use EC.

You know what I meant. The EC attempts to make textures random in an effort to seem "natural," but as I said, the colors are too washed out. I more than dislike how my houses look in the EC.Yeah cause every time I run the EC I think I've turned on a TV by mistake! They're all cartoonish
Really, a "2D joke client"? It seemed to be just fine for a lot of old-timers who may use the EC predominantly today but loved the game with the classic. If you haven't been around long enough to have played UO prior to the EC, I find it hard to believe that you started playing because of the EC graphics and not the game.In the last State of UO address, Bonnie said half of players use EC.

Lets just agree to agreeYou know what I meant. The EC attempts to make textures random in an effort to seem "natural," but as I said, the colors are too washed out. I more than dislike how my houses look in the EC.
I'd play elsewhere if I were forced to go EC. No doubt.Really, a "2D joke client"? You're presuming that the other half would migrate over. Some of us love the game, but not that much. Don't you realize that enough of us would not, and EA might just decide with the subscription drop to pull the plug completely?
I forgot that people on Classic Client are allowed to criticize the Enhanced Client, but people on Enhanced Client aren't allowed to criticize Classic Client without hearing the same song and dance about how the old-timers would quit and the game would die. Waaaaahhhh!!! #DERPReally, a "2D joke client"? It seemed to be just fine for a lot of old-timers who may use the EC predominantly today but loved the game with the classic. You can criticize, but you're wrong.I forgot that people on Classic Client are allowed to criticize the Enhanced Client, but people on Enhanced Client aren't allowed to criticize Classic Client without hearing the same song and dance about how the old-timers would quit and the game would die. Maybe if the people who've been using the same client since the Clinton Presidency would move on and accept some changes, the developers would have the incentive to put together a better package that would attract more new players. Sorry I moved on from the 1990's and you haven't.Maybe if you don't like the game's client, REAL client, you should run along back to WoW or whatever shiny thing you'd rather be playing.
Oh okay... everyone on classic is right, and everyone on enhanced is wrong. Please enlighten us with more of your deep insights. You can criticize, but you're wrong.

Stop replying with straw men, and you might be able to make a point someday. Who ever said that nobody is allowed to criticize the CC? Show us.Oh okay... everyone on classic is right, and everyone on enhanced is wrong. Please enlighten us with more of your deep insights.
you would prefer people to live in 2001? calling EC graphics "modern" is just wrong. In the last State of UO address, Bonnie said half of players use EC.
Maybe if people would stop living in the late 90's with the 2D joke client, the developers would have more incentive to make EC better.
Works for me, what doesn't work about it? Maybe I don't know what it should be, but sure made mine better. This doesn't work for over 4 years now.
Here's the correct way to set the zoom level:
http://stratics.com/community/threads/guide-to-set-better-picture-quality-post-26-march-2010.187692/
It might also be a good practice to turn off zooming with the mouse wheel. Otherwise you might change that freshly calculated zoom setting accidentally.

Maybe if the EC were not so ugly, from textures to how our 17-year-old characters look to how things look in a backpack, and if it had a few things the CC and UOA have, then you might have a reason to tell us to "move on." Do you honestly think that the EC is anything that would lure new players?
Because the game would have lost half its players...Seriously the CC needs to just be &$#!@*$ dropped and none of this crap would be posted.
I did, but clearly you didn't. What Aran said was not to say you couldn't criticize. Your quote right there even says so.So when someone says "you can criticize but you're wrong", I'm to take that as it being welcomed to support EC? Did you read the thread, Zog?
That's your opinion. Nobody ever said you couldn't have it. However, there are a lot of currently active, long-term players besides me who can't stand it. You may like the "grid form," but even in the classic view, the artwork for everything from runes to spellbooks is too pixelated for those of us who, you know, have been playing since before the EC. You may be used to it since you never played the CC exclusively, but there are still those of us playing for a long time who can't bear the terrible graphics for daily play.CC is far more ugly than EC, in my humble opinion. The backpack is FAR SUPERIOR in EC. Being able to view things in grid form or by name is alot easier.... AND you can switch it to classic backpack view in EC if you so wish to do so.
Even with Pinco's, lots of us find it very convoluted to create macros, and there's no ability to drag spell icons to anywhere on the screen, only to drop them on new hotbars. There's not even Ctrl-Q to cycle backward through what the character has said.EC may not be leaps and bounds better than CC in terms of grpahics, but its interface is more modern (somewhat) and new player friendly. Look at how you react to people critcizing CC in favor of EC...
As I already said, you might have some credibility if you stopped with the straw men. Start dealing with actual facts instead of imagining people's reactions.if they launched a truly modern client 3d client, the same people that use CC would cry foul about every feature and threaten to quit, citing their multi years of service playing the game.
So you played it once, didn't like it, played UO again with the EC, and you want to impose it on everyone? The obessession with CC is pathetic. I played it when I was back in middle school, 15 years ago. Its by far one of the biggest aspects holding the game back. The aversion to change regarding the CC v. EC debate is really a joke.
the irony of this post though is that the release of the new user interface is on monday and there's a good chance we'll get all these "features" that he's using to say that the EC is better - won't that just be precious if it happensSo when someone says "you can criticize but you're wrong", I'm to take that as it being welcomed to support EC? Did you read the thread, Zog?
