--House Storage increased to that of Castle
Some decent ideas, some not so decent. Im going to go one by one on this:
1.
House Storage increased to that of Castle /Additional House per Account Token -
Never going to happen. More a ccounts= more money for UO, so I don't see them giving us another house or increasing our storage.
2. Multi-Skill Soulstone -
Seems redundant considering we already can buy Soulstones (legacy token) and get them as vet rewards.
3. Increase Pet Control Number -
BIG NO. Tamers already have plenty of power with Greater Dragons. Imagine letting them have ANOTHER pet on top of that? It has way too many implications in both PvM and PvP.
4. New mounts/Pets -
As a mount collector in WoW, I really do think this is a great idea, and one gamers are proven to want. We were originally supposed to get a Seahorse mount for water travel in Ilshenar which never happened, so the idea of a water mount is intriguing.
5. New Housing Deco -
(1) - Dont we already have the crystal/corrupted teleporters for things like this? I get maybe wanting to add runes, but really we have runebooks for that.
(2) - Bad idea. It takes even more money from UO, and it basically negates the shard shields which are already in game
(3) - Yes, yes, and more yes. It may not be MY thing, but it will sell.
(4) - Stable master? We already have hitching posts
(5) - Fire works display...Interesting...Perhaps better suited as an anniversary item
(6) - I disagree with removing even more need to people to go to cities. I get the convenience of it, but that doesnt always equate to better for the game
(7) - Wall Safe? We have those secret chests which are kinda similar. I guess new type of artwork with similar functions would be cool
(8) - Elevator...Maybe but I don't see an easy way for it to be sold on the store
(9) - House cloaking device? For what purpose? Hiding your whole house? Seems very impractical
(10) - I like it, but remove the soulforge functionality. We cant risk making existing content even more irrelevant (aka Scalis)
(11) - Wardrobe - We already have mannequins to hold our suits for us right? Adding function to rename them would be nice tho
(12) - Interesting idea, I like the thought behind it...But how desirable/how much use would the everyday player have for it? Perhaps not a store item
(13) - I like the idea, but requires more thought on how it would be implemented. Perhaps it only shows your top 3 favorite pets? (WoW is doing something similar in their new Garrisons)
6. Extra Character Slot (With effect of Mystic Token) -
Again at this point, I don't think they want to reduce the need of people buying new accounts
7. Extra Pet Stall Slots -
I like this one, and its also something alot of people would buy.
8. Runic’s
- Would negate game content and cross into Pay to Win territory
9. Dye tubs with Neon colors / Dye one item Glacial/Blaze / Dye for pets -
Noooooo. I think the Dev team already said something about wanting things like dragons to have the ability to spawn in some new colors which is a vastly better thing than a pet dye. Also we really need to move away from neons and such.
10. Gambling Furniture -
I like it
11. Last Name token -
I suppose you want to bypass the character limit? You could just choose a first and last name within the limit so I dont know if this would work.
12. Armor for pets -
Something like dragon barding but for other pets? Sure, but it should be a ingame thing not a store item IMO
13. Blessed Reagent Bag -
Tough one. I think it goes into P2W territory, but it might be a good idea as an ingame item. Would it encourage the use of regs + the market for them? Maybe
14. Token that works at all banks advertising your event and casting unblock able gate -
Not going to happen. Very easily could become a way to grief/be obnoxious. Same reason why Governors don't have access to the town criers.
Now for some other posters: You have to consider not what YOU necessarily want, but what would EVERYONE want. There is no point to adding something to the store if only a few people will buy it. We also cannot risk the game going into P2W areas. For example:
1. Something that effects only Castles/Keeps - The market is too low so why waste time developing for it? How many people would even buy it? Sure if you own a Castle you would, but honestly how many players do?
2. It CANNOT be Pay To Win. Anything that would give you an inherent advantage to another player simply will not be good for the game. Forged Metal Tool is pushing it as is.
3. We arent going to get a 2nd house. Its time people accept it. The idea is for UO to MAKE money, not LOSE money. A 2nd house = loss of subs.
4. Underwear? *facepalm* I really doubt that would be a hot seller....
*********************************************************************************************************************
UO's biggest strength has always been its housing. Its a feature many MMO's either dont have, or still dont do right (Instanced housing, yuck). Housing also drives subscriptions. In say this, you have many things that have been, and can continue to be added to the store:
1. Housing "Theme" packs - New tiles and such
2. House Deco
I still maintain Vet Rewards would be a great seller. Actual Vets will have the chance to get them for free, anyone else can buy them. Tiered pricing depending on the "Age" required to claim a free version.
New noncombat Mounts/Pets exclusive to the store would also be good sellers.
Marriage Token? Lets you target another player - Gives you a special title you can use in game to show your union + Gives increased skill gain when you are playing together for a week? Could work
Indestructible crafting tools?
New Graphic Armor - Blank with max imbuing weight + basic resists?
Flag Of Pwning - Doesn't block movement, you can plant it on a players corpse with a cooldown (took this from WoW) (

Murder Count Removal Token - Removes all counts from a character (Basically a uber version of a forged pardon, but make it expensive)
Skin Change Token - Lets you repick your skin color?
Soul Collector - Collects the "souls" of the monsters you kill. Recent a certain number and it rewards you with a random item from a certain pool of things? Needs work, but could be that interesting knicknack
New Hairstyles - Something visible like this would make more sense than say, buying new undergarments or something
