Can you transfer char "A" to one shard. Then transfer Char "B" to a different shard both on the same account. With a shield transfer token?

Sure, once the transfer is completed for the first, if you have another token for the second, and if you have sufficient free slots on the destination shards, there should be no reason you can't.

Yes, once every 24 hours. they added a cool-down on transfers a few publishes ago, the cool-down is also triggered by char-copy
interesting.
i knew that there was a 24 hour cool down period i just assumed that it was for the account, not character bound.

you can not do continual jumps off a shard shield with different characters.
you are still bound by the 24hr cool off period.
i just jumped from LA to ATL on one guy and then tried to jump to ATL to GL on another guy and got the normal cool down message.

The tokens are acc bound - not character bound. That means, you can jump to the destination shard with any character you want. It is 24 hrs cooldown between any char transfer / char copy.
You can also - if you want, pick all tokens on same shard. Pick the shard to go to and the return token with you and jump over with char A for to jumb back with char B. Or if you got more tokens - keep on moving and changing character for every destination.
