if the Dev got rid of the 90 day from the billing oh we would have a super house dropping all right...... then less than a month later EA would anounce that UO was ending and they would shut the machines off and the whole of mythic devoted to our game would ether be shuffled off to other games or given a pink slip....
Think i am joking?
We are walking a fine knifes edge as it is... account wise... If not for the combined money EA brings in from our spending and hard as it might be to do so at the UOSTORE we generate enough to keep their tight fists off our game.
Those 90 dayers you so grumble about are still paying money to EA, yea i know its not as much as you but every penny keeps the EA Death Deamon from cutting the cord on UO.
Those who have been having billing trouble with the account management can tell you its been hell to keep up with its shananagans.
Those who are still trying to get it to work would loose the bettle in under 7 days.... as houses would fall like rain...
Worst off those poor devils WANT to pay EA...
Servicemen and women who are away from game play would loose out.... if someone forgot and they didnt have that 90 day leeway to correct it.
Yes I know you want more idoc's but think this out.. Every customized house..is a single account that is lost to the game....
Those RTB houses might be a stick in your craw pain in the arse but you also are like demons rubbing your hands and not caring that what you seek to happen will if done will have profound effects to the game at large.
Now i agree the bugged and RTB's need to go...
that said
I also hear alot of saber rattleing at houses that you feel should go too
Watch what you wish for... you just might get it and in that process kill off whats left of UO.
