So, I wanted a quick way to build Parrying on my own. Even with 9 skeletons aggro'd the hits were "slow", and the gains came even slower. So I came up with the a method that worked well. I used my mage and xfered my parrying via soulstones to my dexxer.
Supplies:
1.) shield, preferably with self repair(SR), (mine had SR 4)
2.) exceptional samurai platemail from dull copper (should give you 70+ physical resist and mage armor property)
3.) 100%LRC (I just imbued the DC armor. The MR and amber was cheap ^^)
Steps:
1.) Cast Protection on yourself
2.) Go to Deceit lvl 1
3.) Lure all ghouls, zombies, and skeletons on the level to the North hallway (it's 2 tiles wide)
4.) Walk back and forth casting Greater Heal when needed
The Protection prevents interruption, so healing is a cinch. Just be sure to kill any wraiths in the group. Using this method, I was aggro'd by 32 undead at once=>I was hit about 25x in the 2 secs it took to run through the group. The rationale for using that specific hallway is two-fold: first, the undeads won't move once the group is fully compressed; and second, the 2-tile width ensures every one is close enough to strike you as you pass by (a 3-tile width would work, too. But you would have to run right down the middle, and I didn't want to have to worry about that.
That's all I got. Hope it helps! Feedback/thoughts are appreciated.
