how many going to try placing is it worth the chance , glitch putting your own decent house into decay
will this be new house market for bragging rights, lol no one will probably play but real estate maybe end up rare lol!!!!!!!!

I hope only people who wish to really give siege a try do this. Grabbing land for no reason is silly.

While I do not play on Siege, I don't think having a second primary there is a good idea. Any second home on any shard should have to be refreshed from time to time. Like someone else said, having a house on siege for the sake of having it only displaces someone else who actually wants to play there.

I would like to give it a shot myself, but if it doesn't work out for whatever reason -the land should be made available for someone else.

since houses are more expensive on siege (a small old time house is 73k) and you can buy gold, im guessing that not many will take the time to train up to make the gold to place a house.

i had money in the bank from years ago when i sold off my 2 keeps on siege.
so i will put a house down.
but just a small house in the forest.
just enough to put up some supplies so i can play there.

always felt that is was such a waste to have made 5 guys there and dont play them anymore.
now ill have a reason too!

i am a little worried that they didnt give much info on when and how all this will work.
at 12:01 on the 21 was the land open to place?
at server up?
so many unanswered questions.

As of 6/21/13, player accounts will be allowed to have one primary house placed on a siege rule set shard (Mugen/ Siege Perilous) as well as one primary house placed on a non siege rule set shard.

so that went live 4/5 hours ago, depending on timezone.

I think it's live on 24th from reading notes again. Just tried to place and was telling me would condem my current place.

Hmmmmm, I saw that also, but then at the top of the patch notes it says:

Bit confusing. I'll login to Siege and get a screenshot of the message.

Yes but where is your other house, on Siege too? you can't place 2 houses on Siege.
Or maybe your current house is on a shard, that not yet had had it's daily server down so it do not know the new rules.
The june 24 is the day the publish goes to TC. I don't think the Siege house are a part of the publish that goes to TC but a changes to the house server so we now have 3 house servers, a Prodo, a Siege/Mugen and a TC that do not effect each others.

That is the standard message I received as well. I placed on a production Shard 5 days ago and can not place on any of them until Sunday. I have 40 hrs or so until I can place again. But Siege let me place and I have checked my production house and it is not condemned. I will keep an eye out through out the day and let you know I can be the test subject I just returned and do not have the long term house commitment as some.

That is the standard warning message you get any time you place a house. The Siege house is live. I have already placed a few and my normal-shard houses are fine.

I placed a house on Siege a few hours ago, fully expecting a house on the same account that I had on Great Lakes to go to condemned. So far the GL house is looking okay. The status-type information on both house signs is the same, i.e., the house is properly placed and automatically refreshed. And there's no message on the GL house saying it's in decay and no messages when you step into it saying that it's condemned. I'll be watching it closely though. Haven't tried placing a house anywhere else with any of my accounts that own a house on Siege.

Ive just placed a lovely Keep on siege...not to far form a moongate too....which is very very handy on siege for getting around untill uve raised mage past 70s!!!! for gating!!....and my own house on euro is fine and dandy...no signs of decay!!!....so alls good !!

so yes this is live and working as it should...u can know have house on a production shard and siege/mugden....i would hurry though if u want a big one ....i saw a few emoty keep spots but chose the nearest one to a moongate for travelling purposes.....pretty sure the landmass will soon fill up with new to try siege players...can only be a good thing for siege to be fair....

now who as got a rune for a nice deco/furntiture shop!!!

Just placed my Siege Large Tower. Glad I was able to scoop up a decent spot before they were all gone! I never would have bothered with Seige since im so invested in Atlantic; but now that I have a Large Tower over there I think i'll be logging in there quite a bit more in the coming weeks. Welcome to Origin! Let me know if you need anything...I just placed my house on Vesper beach in the same location my auction house used to be on Origin on Seige. I was asked a few years ago to run an auction house on Seige but didn't have a house to do so...now that I have one, might be fun And a challenge eh?
