Hello everyone,
Atlantic will be holding the next Rares Fest this summer at Toad Town. The town has expanded since and has plenty of room for festivities. We would like to keep the same theme as always: a gathering for all rares collectors, old and new, to enjoy multiple evenings of buying & trading rares whilst enjoying the various events the Fest has to offer.

Friday, June 7th 2013 until Sunday, June 9th 2013
***We will start vendors the week prior and allow people to sell their lesser items during this period.***

Pre-Rares Fest Event:
Thursday, June 6th, Masteryoda & Longtooth will be hosting a regular auction at 8pm EST and will accept submissions starting as early as June 1st. Teleporter to auction house located at the Toad Town teleport hub/monument park.

Events Run By Alexander:
The Hunger Games! (Saturday, June 8, at 3 EAST)
A Secluded Area infested with Harbingers and loot all around them! Fight your way through and grab what you want. Gates will be provided from Toad Town for people needing resurrected. Try your luck at a garb or picking up loot! This event can take place either in Tram, Fel, or Malas. So sharpen your swords, feed the dragons, and be prepared for a bloodbath! With over 300 million worth of items on the ground, we will give you the experience of a mini Mesanna event! Hidden in a special place will be two very special items, treasured by the citizens of Toad Town. Find these items, and return it to the Toad Town Archivist (Alexander), and win a very special reward.

Hidden Treasures (June 7-9)
Sneaky Toad will make an appearance at a random time and surprise the audience. He will tell a Riddle in which you would have to decipher. For this event, everyone must be in the Rare's Fest Chat channel. The Items will ONLY be in the houses of Toad Town Members. First person to tell me what the item it is and what house it's in WINS!

Rags To Riches! (June 7-9)
Everyday, at a specific time. Sneaky Toad Will Make An appearance and drop checks that came from the vaults of the Toad Town Casino. Keep an Eye out!

Last Toad Standing (Sunday, June 9th at 5PM EAST)
NOOBIE payers will be assigned a numbered toad and will be gated to a secluded area in Felucca where the toads will be roaming. The objective is to find your numbered toad and protect it whilst trying to kill the other toads! The Last Toad Standing is the winner.

"Let Them Eat Cake!" (Friday, June 7 at 7 EAST)
What is a Birthday without cake? In order to celebrate Alexander's birthday, we need to retrieve his stolen Birthday Cake. Reports have concluded that a bunch of thieving bandits came into Toad Town in the middle of the night, and stole cake. To hide the real cake, in-case of an emergency, they have made several duplicates. We have sent out some spy's to seek out the Bandit hideout, in charge is none other than Sneaky Toad. With success, we have found the base, along with the many duplicates, guarded by "Cake Eating Monsters". Fight your way through and retrieve my (Alexanders) cake! Gates will be provided to the hideout. Return the Birthday Card that came with the REAL cake and win a special reward, hand picked from my personal collection. More information will be given at the time of the event.

Yes, vendors will be available a week early. And from there on, like other fests, you can stock items.

What I mean by collection:
It doesn't have to be a big collection, or a collection of just event items or server births. A collection is someone collecting something that appeals to them. So basically, if you have anything you want to show off or just want the public to see it. PM me. I literally have a rune to someone's house that has just one rare in it, but the house is designed to add 'flavor' to that single rare. So it doesn't matter how big or small your collection is, PM me and it will be for public display at the Summer Rares Fest at Toad Town.

How does one actually bring enough gold from another shard to Atlantic? (I cannot wait for there to be no more checks and end this issue). On a dead shard I suppose one could place a house to store all the gold but if I was to transfer to Atlantic with packies full of checks whats the advice?

I would recommend either finding someone who will trade your shards gold for Atlantic gold or if you'd like, you can transfer with your packies and set up a vendor when the time comes and store your millions on your vendor through item transactions. The limit on vendors is 2 billion though.

Have a vendor ready for you on ATL before you Xfer. Have someone ( or a second account) buy items off the vendor to store your gold while you are there. I believe vendors can hold just under 2 bil.

If my understanding is correct, and this may change. It will have to depend on our housing and all the events to accommodate the housing along with other means. we plan the following:

- 2 Front houses - Belonging to Rares Vendors ONLY. If a vendor is caught with a non-rare item, the owner of the vendor will be notified and a member of the staff will place black gozas on top of the vendor. Signifieing that there is something on it that isn't suppose to be there. The gozas will remain until the item is removed. IE: No replicas, power scrolls, tokens, or any current daily items. Transfer Tokens are allowed.

- Back Ally Vendors - Located behind Toad Town. These vendors will be available for vending for daily items.

This may change in the future, but from my understanding, this is how it is right now.

Its my understanding for Last Toad standing, The players need an unskilled, no gear, NOOBIE toon to enter this contest. It is possible to use a trial account toon if you have no open spaces on your main account. It is a felucca location, and we will be leaving from a locked room, so its imperative to be on time for this event.
It would be awesome if you named your toon with Tadpole or Toad or Frog somewhere in your title IE: Queen Toad.... Ms Polywog etc
