Read my posts, I'm not going to draw you diagrams until you get it.LOL You still rant and rave that it ruined Blacksmith/Tailor and not one thing you said proves your point.
Sit down calmly and read what I'm saying again, because you are the one getting flustered and not understanding what I'm saying. Here are some FACTS.
A GM Blacksmith/Tailor still has the same success/failure rate they had Pre-Pub 16 at GM.
Nobody is forcing anybody to use Power Scrolls, you can still be a GM Smith/Tailor just like you were Pre-Pub 16 with the same success/failure rate.
Pub 16 did not nerf Blacksmith/Tailors it just gave those that wanted to have a better success rate the chance.
Please show us your facts and not a bunch of ranting and raving to prove your point. You cant.
A skill capped at GM is as good as it gets for the player. You add in a powerscroll and a 120 cap and they are no longer at maximum power in that skill. To get maximum power they must spend another 20 skill. Those are facts. As is the fact that you can improve a skill without tipping it over 100 skill points. You are jumping characters through hoops when you shouldn't need to. Don't expect everyone to be so easily led. Improve skills at the GM level, less hassle for everyone. Another fact....
Pub 16 gave us a better success rate? No, only if we were stupid enough to train to 120 and screw up our templates to get it. GM crafters won't improve their chances unless they scroll up. The alternative of adjusting skill requirements with a cap of GM would have been better. Sorry if that's difficult to understand, but skills can be improved without powerscrolls. I still haven't seen one point that justifies adding 20 to a skill cap instead of improving the skill at a cap of 100. PS are not the only solution, and when you understand that we might make some progress
