I acknowledge that my post had political undertones and have therefor deleted it voluntarily. Stratics indeed has the right to monitor and define the environment on this gaming forum.
However, I would like to point out that within the game, politics exists in all its glory. Isn't the economy issue and proposed solutions within the game essentially a political issue? When designing new MOB encounters with the goal of encouraging the community approach over solo attack essentially political? How about the unending debate between people who prefer trammel, those who prefer pvp, and those who pk? How about the issue of vibrant colors verses muted tones? How about the issue of people receiving skills and stats for a song verses people who think you need to work for them?
There is a thin line between what can be considered totally in game and what bleeds over from real life. Perhaps UO is real life for some, I don't know. But I propose that for Stratics, volume is good. Subjects such as those above have generated tons of posting activity. Perhaps the broader the thin line is, the better.
