[UO Herald] Account Center Maintenance - 08/07

We will bring down the Account Center for a short maintenance tomorrow, Tuesday August 7th, at 8am EDT (14:00 CEST). During the maintenance you will not be able to change subscription or redeem game codes.
At the moment we anticipate the Account Center to be back online at 11:45am EDT (17:45 CEST).

I TRIED TO ACCESS ONE OF MY ACCOUNTS TODAY and COULD NOT! (Pulling out my hair in frustration and getting tired of trying every option to figure out what is wrong and why I can't log in.)

Many months ago, and after many hours of work struggling to get this account linked to BIOWARE MYTHIC using a NEW E-mail Account, and making sure all eight account subscriptions were AUTOMATICALLY paid for each and every month via my CC which has always been Valid and still is valid .. Today, I check MY EA ACCOUNT and the account management has NO BILLING INFORMATION for this account, and the status of this particular account is CLOSED.

SO WHAT IS GOING WRONG AGAIN? My CREDIT CARD works perfectly. Where did the Billing Information I supplied months ago vanish to, and why was the account closed without a warning via e-mail to me to say the account was closed?

I did get an earlier E-mail saying an account had been closed accidentally and was now fixed and they were giving me 7 days free on-line. I have no idea which account they are talking about because they didn't name the UO GAME NAME of my account .. only the E-mail name of the EA ACCOUNT under which 8 UO GAMES WITH INDIVIDUAL NAMES are LINKED.



I don't even see which UO ACCOUNT NAME is being paid for .. only the ONE E-mail account shows up. I have to log in to account management to see which Game Accounts are paid for and which are not etc. More time consuming WORK especially when it all falls to pieces after setting it all up again and again.

So what am I doing wrong? :loser: - or is it me? :grrr:

CC's randomly becoming "invalid" and payment info vanishing.

A year later and the account system is still a steaming pile of crap.

So what do I do :next: ?

Establish the Billing information again?
Re-subscribe to the closed account and hope the KEEP, on the account which BioMythic closed, doesn't fall into IDOC before I can get the account back on line?
Check all my accounts now, and continuously afterwards, to make sure their VITAL billing information hasn't vanished?

Aye - - WTG EA.

I am in the process of shutting down numerous accounts. I see I have a duplicate UO GAME ACCOUNT on one E-mail and need to remove it. Is it possible to remove it? It has no billing info.

Try to re-establish the information and reopen the account, however, sometimes a you may have to call to get it sorted :confused:

Re-establishing the Billing Information is my only option right now and shouldn't be a problem.

Calling EA Support from Canada is not an option since SUPPORT doesn't supply a toll free line for Canadians, it costs too much in long distance charges to try get help that way. The first and last time I tried that, I was stuck in que for a long time and then they couldn't help. So .. back to test and try method .. to fix by self with help from Stratic members. :)

Biggest problem is my dwindling patience - - I have lost too many friends from this account migration nightmare and billing problems.

You can try the website and have them call YOU. That's what I typically do. It might be worth a try.

Aye, this is the best option to get phone support for non-US residents. Get them to fot the bill ;)

I am trying an e-mail first to avoid paying any long distance charges even to leave a message.

So then I go Websites for BioWare Mythic .. and get this: Contact Info | Mythic Entertainment | Ultima Online which I think gives this link to support via e-mail [email protected]<[email protected]>; will send them an e-mail if this works I'll tell them to write or phone me. I wonder if you can contact them and talk to someone on chat like we used to using MyUO on the AutoPatch? .... otherwise I will forever be very :confused:
