Publish 74.0 comes to Origin tonight. The Publish 74.0 Notes remain unchanged with one exception:

• Runic Re-Forging – This is being removed for this publish to Origin due to a few issues we encountered on TC; we will be re-publishing it to TC and Origin later before we go World Wide.

I wonder if it was because the crafting skills weren't required to reforge anything. I'm hoping that was the bug that's being corrected.

they said they didnt add anything to it, just took off a problematic feature that wasnt ready yet.

All we can do about the runebook thing is report it and keep trying to bring it up around here. (find a dev postin in a thread and attack him about it )

I have a few of my favorite runebooks that were the same.

I have a feeling they think it's now working as intended as the actual default color of a runebook is brown not redish with a nice golden anhk in the center.

Of course I waited until this was on Origin before venturing in

Wrong critters are TOUGH! Can't get into any of the cells without lockpicking to examine bedrolls...did testing on elven robes/items that glitched on TC1 and had no issues...robes, leggings etc. Recalled in and out, logged in and out..died and rezzed etc.

BOD system works nicely, and of course the Luna Craftsmen are being watched..the evil eye of Luna! *laughs*

Was able to get robe to subdue evil-do'ers but none in site yet..I will be keeping my eyes open.

Still need to figure out how to get to the prison of nightmares, the video Storm did is pretty awesome, even though it is in the EC * Winks *

Christmas cards no longer change names every time you move them...which is good and bad..I kinda liked the idea of having one card from everyone on the team lol.

The mannequin fixes seem to be working, I can't test if they get booted when you go into customize mode because I own a castle but I do know that co-owners and friends can no longer access them so thumbs up for that.

If that rogue cobblestone can get attention way out there in the ocean, then our default rune books can make a comeback.

Now I know I have my leet runebook of vanquishing in here somewhere. It was in the default color.....drat!

Last I checked I don't think any of it was really active...I could be wrong, no pun intended.

Guess I'm still not a fan of the bod bribe system.

I do like the idea i can finally get some of those bods i've been needing/searching for - but the ability to continously upgrade bods is a bit crazy.

With .1 blacksmith skill - I was able to take a normal 10 bascinet bod and upgrade it to a Powder of Fort (shadow 15 ex) version for about 1,500gp.

Uh - Powder of fort about to drop to about 20-30k a vial. Its going to be WAY too easy to get.

Same with bless deeds on the tailor side - easy to upgrade cloth bless deed larges. Clothing bless deeds to fall to about 100k or less.

High end ruinics - value of bribes + ingots.

Val Hammer - 2mil
Verite hammer - 750-1m
Aggy Hammer - 500-750k

I feel bad for those that legitimately achieved these over the years. I have a couple verite's but never a val hammer. Yes, I can now get one - but it won't have the same 'value' as if I was able to achieve with old system.

I agree old system was way way too hard - new system is way way to easy. But then, that is the nature of the UO pendulum. It always swings too far from side to side and never makes small adjustments.

Its been full assalt on crafters since imbuing. Shame drops, imbued items, bod changes - all are killing the crafting professions. No need for anyone dedicating time to it - it can be achieved by all.

UO turning into permenant test center. No value to all items as whatever you want is easy to achieve.

I guess this is good - as the value of my years of work collecting bods, gathering resources to craft and such is turned to nil - it makes it much easier to walk away from the game since I'm not leaving behind much of any value.

Oh wow...so the deal is as long as you have any skill you can get BODs? What if you use skill jewelry? Hrm...

I'm a bit less negative about it. You can't fill a val bod to get a hammer without the skill, you can't re-forge magical items, I see a market for plain iron and leather goods, plus most folk would far rather a crafer did the work for them than do it themselves.

hm i was thinking ancient smith hammers or whatever with the +60 smith...

maybe if PoF and runic values drop then the scripters wont make enough money and will give up? Or the scripters will still do it, sell it cheaper then the price gauging "Merchants" will buy it all up and mark it up.

If the bod system on TC stays and makes it to us then there will be more people just getting the PoF and Runics themselves since itll be easier. Also if you do the BoDs yourself you dont have to wonder how much markup your payin.

I go away for two weeks to work abroad.
And when I get back again they have totally killed the remaining pieces that was not killed about smithing before.

For the first time since I started to play june '98 I will consider if there are any place for me anymore.

They can't ever make everyone happy. Usually many are pancakes and complaining that they pushed out the publish to all shards too quickly.

So expect a RE-publish to TC and Origin before it goes completely live to the rest of the shards.

yea, what Ezekial said. Origin is a live test shard, things should sit on origin for weeks at a time before going world-wide.

I heard it from someone responding to Markee Dragon, so how truthful it is I dunno. That guy usually knows months before something goes down though so I wouldn't be surprised if we hear something soon about it.
Perfect World Entertainment has been buying up a lot of thing recently though.

Okay here's the thing...I play a game run by PWE.....there is NO WAY on God's Green Earth that they are trying to buy Mythic...I'm sorry to say but PWE has WAY too many problems of their own.

I've been playing Jade Dynasty for a little over 2 years now..for a F2P game it's not bad....but myself and many others have had MAJOR complaints about the company...so much so that we did ALOT of digging and research into the company and it's ethics..and there is absolutely NO grounds for your claim whatsoever.
