I had heard a rumour that Europa Auction & Events were running Bovine Madness after their weekly auction for the first time in months so I decided I would attend.
After an initial meet and greet the attendees all sat waiting to hear what on earth we were doing getting involved with anything to do with mad cows.
Our hostess (with the mostest) Amantala explained there would be three events. The Cow Tip, the milk stool race and finally the Barnyard rumble.
First up was Cow tip. Where the idea was to be the person who tipped their cow over the most times (and ended up with a rather sore clicking finger)
A new record of 7 tips was set during this event, leading to some claims the cow being used may have been drunk. Your intrepid reporter however only managed a measly one tip on the drunken cow.
Up next was the Milk stool race. Where the idea was to race from one end of the staging area to the other leapfrogging the milk stool. Until reaching the end where you then had to down a pitcher of milk before racing back.
Aron Swordsmaster of Sosarian Red Cross managed a record busting race and sped into first place with the competition left far behind.
Finally came the Barnyard rumble which sounded somewhat ominous to say the least. Turns out the participants had to freshly tame any farmyard animal from a selection of cows, sheep, goats, and chickens.
Once back at the auction house the animals were penned in and took it in turns to fight another animal.
After some close run fights Aron Swordsmaster's BovineBattler won against all other animals including your reporters very own Shergar the sheep.
The result was then announced that it was a tie and the result would be decided by another milk stool race between the two competitors. Due to some issues with pathfinding on the way back it was clear Aron Swordsmaster would win and in a show of pure sportsmanship he deliberately went sideways around the staging area on his stools until his competitor caught up but not enough to beat Aron to the finish.
In reverse order the 3 finalists were
Lord Xsar - 3rd Place and winner of a race change token
Memeti - 2nd Place and winner of a heritage token.
Aron Swordsmaster - 1st Place and winner of a Wooden cow.
Well done to everyone at Europa Events & Auctions for a fun evening.
