Problem I have with the brocolli is that it's really just a banana in disguise.I could dance.
It's enough that the caves'll be clear of blackrock by... well, they probably already are... Yet it's small enough that I don't feel bad for ditching my stash.
Thanks, both.
In fact, here's a symbolic dancing broccoli.
I hate that dancing broccoli...
So Johnny scripter will spend the entire cleanup time crafting/trashin items to get hundreds of item bless deeds..... DOh!?
even if the crafted items are low points, scripters will still run multi scripting accounts doin it, Maybe give the crafted items an eventual diminished return or a limit per day or something.
Other Virtue System tweaks:
The total virtue point cap has been increased so that it is easier to maintain Knight rank.
All virtues now decay at the same rate as the current rate for Valor. (This is a significant decrease in decay rate for most virtues.)
Skills that had their decay rate reduced now spend virtue when you use them.
Does this mean all my tamers are going to need to work their honor up on a regular basis? As it is this virtue does not decay....
I just wanted to point something out, people in this thread keep equating points to gp, as in the Item Bless Deed is 50k points, it should cost more than 50k gp. In fact, I think you get 1 point per 100 gp turned in, so the direct gold conversion value would be 100:1. An Item Bless Deed, if you straight up turned in gold for it, would be 5m gold.
I know that there will be ways to get points more cheaply than turning in gold, but the people screaming about turn in values need to realize that points do not equal gp.
wow are u sure????? thats amazing point values...guess there is none left in any vendor on any shard now...lolAOS clothes give 6500 points

Because its just a game...there are alot of other things people who want to act rich can get..It's amazing to see all these Socialistic point-of-views and yet most lives in a Capitalistic society. Everyone should get this, everyone should get that. I am not indicating getting rid of everything just add in a few that the rich can afford. If you don't expect Mercedes sell for 5 bucks or Rolex watches for that matter so why should you want everything in this game to be affordable by everyone?
That statement goes both ways i.e., because it is in fact just a game so why not do it. Having the big expensive items shouldn't bother those who can't obtain it as long as there are plenty of cheap items around. When the spring cleaning was first introduced everyone knew that the IBD can only go to a few people because it was at that time 500,000 points and 1 mil gold was worth 100 times to what it is now.Because its just a game...there are alot of other things people who want to act rich can get..
Just look at event items and dread mares..
Let people have some fun...
THIS!!!!!I love most all the additions but once again I'm denied my missing Snow Globe. *sighs* Still no snow globe for Despise... For years this poor Anti-Virtue Dungeon has gone unrecognized... There has never been a snow globe for it for some odd reason... Though more likely it's been a constant oversight on the part of the DEV team. Give us Despise... and allow me to "complete" my collection... Please.
Also I agree about the Mannequins .. I'd like to be able to see stats too. I'd also like to be able to dye them. They are awesome though.
the new veteran rewards still unknown, maybe we will see this items?I honestly would not feel sorry for anyone currently sitting on a stack of these. Am kind of surprised scaffolding and two story statues didn't make it to the list.

Maybe that's what the Abyssal Pet Dye's are. *shrugs*the new veteran rewards still unknown, maybe we will see this items?![]()
Very simple, long term players paid more subscription fees over time. Of course they derserve more. Besides this system is perfectly fair because it gives everyone one option to obtain it, i.e. buying points with gold............Man, the devs give the players what they want.........cleaning time, and when I randomly stop somewhere in this thread, what do I see?
Someone's BP&Ming about item bless deeds.......Do I sense a bunch of ungrateful babies or what? Ruin Fel?? Be serious, Fel a joke to begin with.....then we see whining about how few points it would take to get one.....why not? Why should it favor the long term hoarders and not give some younger players a stab at getting one or two?
Not everyone plays UO in the same fashion.....some have lives, some are normal people where a computer game doesn't absorb their every moment.
I for one have a ton of garbage, will I go for all I can get? hell yeah....I've paid my monthly fee for many a year.......just stop the crying people, heck, most of you are grown adults.![]()
Haha, what a crock! Long term players deserve more?? New players should be rewarded for sticking around as this game is hard to get started!Very simple, long term players paid more subscription fees over time. Of course they derserve more. I'm a long term player and I still can't afford one.Very simple, long term players paid more subscription fees over time. Of course they derserve more. Besides this system is perfectly fair because it gives everyone one option to obtain it, i.e. buying points with gold.
That ignorant comment pretty much tells me your naivety to this game. It's not the new players that keep this game going it's the veterans.Haha, what a crock! Long term players deserve more?? New players should be rewarded for sticking around as this game is hard to get started!
Long term players are more likely to have accumulated the junk over time that can be traded in for more points. They'll be rewarded. This also doesn't consider the fact that if you were here for events in '08 and '09 you were (likely) able to obtain many desirable items (meaning ones you wouldn't trade in for clean-up points) that are not available to new players except via trade.Very simple, long term players paid more subscription fees over time. Of course they derserve more. Besides this system is perfectly fair because it gives everyone one option to obtain it, i.e. buying points with gold.
Agreed 100%. You get to pick which virtue you want to display every time you use it; you don't have to pick a facing direction (just target a spot near the wall and the facing is chosen for you) and you click on the banner to re-deed it. Well done indeed!I want to say this to the DEV's ..... I checked out the Virtue Deed on Test center and I just wanted to give you one HUGE THANK YOU!
So, you are telling me that the game isn't hard to get started? I admit, I have only been playing a couple of years, but without the help of the people that I already knew playing the game, I would have quit, it's not a new player friendly game.
As much as you like to think it, it's not just the Vets that keep this game going
Ignore him. He thinks he's important to this game because he collects pixelcrack. Anyone who pays the monthly fee is keeping the game alive. No matter how long they have paid. Those deciding about the future of UO do not care about vets or not. What matters is the monthly income. Some ppl dont seem to get that tho. You deserve as many chances to get an item bless dead as i have when they implemented the original cleanup britannia event.
Did I say I was important? Obviously you think you are by making your comment. But then again, who the hell are you or me for that matter. You are right monthly subscriptions decides all but there are a lot more veterans that pays for multiple accounts than new players and if you think that doesn't matter guess you are not that wise as you try to be. "Everyone deserves an IBD" Why? What a pompous entitlement point-of-view.Ignore him. He thinks he's important to this game because he collects pixelcrack. unfortunately, it doesnt matter what you had to go through way back when. From a business point of view...you have to get new blood into this game to keep the revenue growing....you cannot rely that the existing base will always be around. That ignorant comment pretty much tells me your naivety to this game. It's not the new players that keep this game going it's the veterans.
New players are already rewarded to the hilt. When I first started I had a few hundred gp and few types of each reagents which is nothing compare to the new players nowadays. I was stuck on Jhelom islands for nearly two weeks killing rats and snakes before even visiting other cities.
Oh I agree with you that both type of players are needed to keep it going but the whole point of this in the beginning was why couldn't they reflect the their most coveted item in the spring clean-up i.e. the IBD to the current gold market. 500k points now is not the same as 500k points then. And the other thing was add something really expensive for those who could afford it.unfortunately, it doesnt matter what you had to go through way back when. You have to attract, commit and keep new players....constantly. You are naive to think a static pool of players will always be there to pay the montly fees.
this "when i first started" or "the good ol' days" philosophy does not help a business grow and is irrelevant to it's future survival.
very true about the value of gold....too much of it in the UO economy now....Oh I agree with you that both type of players are needed to keep it going but the whole point of this in the beginning was why couldn't they reflect the their most coveted item in the spring clean-up i.e. the IBD to the current gold market. 500k points now is not the same as 500k points then. Where are these 'lost items' to be found? I've run around a bit and haven't found anything just lying about..

and i dont disagee that really old stuff that is uber rare that someone has held onto for a long time could carry some extra value allowing that person to obtain something very rare....that would be unique to long time players, and that should be considered.
D´oh!snowy scene globes 8000
I love the decay change. I hate spending a few weeks off of UO and having to come back and work Sacrifice on all my chars again.Other Virtue System tweaks:
