After reading this thread I decided to go to sleep, unable to come to a conclusion. "But get me a lavaliere, if this is true," a voice, unbeknownst to me, called out from the dark.explain? The stones the slasher drops are killing it in 1 hit?
This encounter is broken and you are not the first one to complain. A stun to death ability is against any sensible design. No iam not a crying girly, i am not for soloing it, but when iam there with my dexxer i get killed every time the stonefall is active, equal how much healers i have with me. Also with my archer he caught me and i get moved to him instantly stonefall and iam dead!
And my question is there a tactic out there how todo it?
I am sorry but sure death has nothing to do with challenge. Guaranteed death is just a grief, thus a broken design. And yes you can survive through Slashers provided you have two characters cross healing (with the heal skill) and don't lag. That doesn't mean the encounter isn't broken (it actually shows the other way imo).It doesn't just do it to dexxers it does it to mages and it has been doing it since I've been doing slasher (past year)
People die at slasher....just like they do at stygian dragon.....they are considered "bosses". There are things in this game that are meant to be challenging. Please stop trying to make everything in this game easy.
You can live through it btw.....you just have to use your brain a little bit.
You must not have done Slashers much...Are you guys talking about the white wash, and the slasher walking up to you and then you can't run away before it kills you? If that's being talked about then simply use a heal pot or a healing stone and you'll be okay.
Maybe not. But the only thing that could ever kill me, while doing the Slasher, is the white screen in which you can't move. Except if I have a heal pot, and then it's pretty easy to stay alive during that part. Unless they changed something in like the last few weeks, Slasher has always been pretty easy for me to kill. You must not have done Slashers much...
It's that white screen in which you cannot move indeed, then you have rocks falling on you (plus slashers hitting you). You can survive some with a heal pot, but you will always die at some point, even with heal stone (it likes to chain it sometimes). That stun to death attack is not relevant.Maybe not. The only things I die to in PvM are tormented minotaurs and sometimes the stygian dragon, but I can use a heal pot or healing stone to heal through it's area/breath too.
I would also say the damage is too high for a simple heal potion which restores max 40 hitpoints the stones are doing around 700 dmg, also a greater dragon get killed by one stonefall, this cant be healed with a heal potion. Maybe with a perfect timend bandage at the beginning middle and end, there could be a chance.I have that many claws as well and much more slasher deaths... There is something wrong in your reasoning. The rock fall lasts a few seconds. There is a timer between pots and a huge timer between heal pots. There is also a timer between using a pot and using a bandaid, or a apple. So it seems to me that you are just lieing. 3 arties out of only 50 slashers would be incredible luck btw... (I personnally have got none and can show you the claws).
Well obviously the Slasher isn't meant to be tanked by a tamer. Ideally you'd use a mystic dexxer or a mystic in general. Most commonly you'll have a pair of mytic dexxers who crossheal. As it is right now, I assume you could just use hell hound treats to get the job done.I would also say the damage is too high for a simple heal potion which restores max 40 hitpoints the stones are doing around 700 dmg, also a greater dragon get killed by one stonefall, this cant be healed with a heal potion.
