I saw in chat "Making circle... need 3 people."
I was told to "google it"
What does it mean?

Google it? Not a great tip, lol. They mean arcane circle. Tis a spell for spellweaving.I saw in chat "Making circle... need 3 people."

Yeah, this is one instance where Google is no help at all.Google it? Not a great tip, lol.
Not really though. It has nothing to do with superiority. If that's the first thing that comes to your mind when you see people say this then you're misunderstanding their reason for doing so and reacting in an overly emotional manner. The phrase "google it" translates roughly to "I am a socially inept jerkwad who can only feel superior when attempting to make others feel inferior."
You obviously didn't click the search link in my post, or you'd have noticed the only term I used was "uo circle" to bring up immediate links to the relevant UOGuide pages which, after reading, are obviously the most relevant to the context in which "circle" was being used.Without inputing helpful search parameters, eg "arcane circle," which the OP was unable to furnish, a google search elicited little in the way of useful information as Galen mentioned.
UO no longer has a manual, so you can't RTFM. Also, UO Guide's entry deals only with the ML description, not the colloquial. It's a six-year old description, and since outdated. It be like reading a paper from 2005 to figure out today's weather. There's no mention, for example, of EMs or West Brit Bank. Google is fail in this situation.Being told to "Google it" was valid and helpful advice, as I've proved.
I did read your links; do you have any proof the responder in the original post has any reason at all to claim to be a "Hacker"? Because your first two links are only valid if either you, or he accept the premises and cultural baggage that comes with that term. Otherwise there's a number of other perspectives that can be applied. You obviously didn't click the search link in my post, or you'd have noticed the only term I used was "uo circle" to bring up immediate links to the relevant UOGuide pages which, after reading, are obviously the most relevant to the context in which "circle" was being used.
Anyone claiming Google isn't useful here is simply incorrect. It provides exactly the information the OP was looking for. Being told to "Google it" was valid and helpful advice, as I've proved.
Cheers.
Fixed....A circle is a type of line. Imagine a straight line segment that is bent around until its ends join. Then arrange that loop until it is exactly circular - that is, all points along that line are the same distance from a center point.
There is a difference between a circle and a disk. A circle is a line, and so, for example, has no area - just as a line has no area. A disk however is a round portion of a plane which has a circular outline. If you draw a circle on paper and cut it out, the round piece is a disk.
Ummm DUUHHH ...... Look Click Here

I have no idea what you mean with the EM reference; you'll have to explain that one. But I added some notes in the description about WBB and the colloquial terms.UO no longer has a manual, so you can't RTFM. Wasn't a knock against UOGuide--I could have edited it if I wanted if that was the case--I just hate people who encourage anti-social behavior like "google it," especially in a largely dead game like UO in which player interaction may keep new players around. EMs made the WBB circles btw, heh.I have no idea what you mean with the EM reference; you'll have to explain that one. But I added some notes in the description about WBB and the colloquial terms.
