Hello all,
I'm toying with putting together the following template:
120 mage (100 real)
100 med
120 eval
SS 120 (105 real)
Nec 105 (85 real)
Myst 120 (105 real)
Foc 120 (100 real)
Adding up to 800 total, or 715 real skill.
Skill from Cryst Ring, Midnight Bracer, and imbued bracelet with SS and Myst (for example, could be either really).
I have the suit scattered over other mages, but put together it'd be
60+ in all resists, 16 Mr, 40 lmc, 2/6, 85 SDI and +25 int. Only 20 DCI, and no -mage weapon, or I'd have to trade off some stats.
Usually, I only go for real skill, but once you get started with +skill items on a template, it's hard to decide when to stop. Has anyone tried this, or does anyone have any ideas on why this is a bad idea?
One problem I see is that I'm not really a skilled enough player to pull off such a template - too much fun to choose from. I'd only be a necro/mage with a RC companion, really. I've never used a non-tamer mage char to solo much, so I'm thinking this could pull off some nice damage output while supported by a team, but it somehow feels a bit fragile.
Looking forward to your comments.
