I can't figure out how to refresh my gargoyle ship.

I run on the deck
I open the hold
I move stuff around in the hold
I click the rope and get off
I click a new rope and get on

This happens over and over. It tells me its going to move the boat. It only started after I placed the cannons. I did find if I log off and back on it helped the last time.

you should be able to double click the NPC who's on your boat. That's how it worked for me during testing...

TWO BUGS:

I sailed out to my Tokuno Ship on a rowboat and got on the Tokuno, when I tried to drydock the rowboat, it said "You may not dock another ship while on another ship or in a house" ?!?!?

So am I suppose to leave the rowboat there to decay?
If these are meant to be dispensable, the waterways are going to get clogged with them eventually....


Also, bug number 2: when taking the fishing quests, I am not getting the crate in my cargo hold as I did on the beta client, so there is no way to know what to fish for OR a place to put them when they are caught....

another issue regarding salpeter and black powder. tool says

while sites and actual mats it use is

I log in to find my char naked (though resists are still accurate) with NO backpack. The terrain on the mountains has areas that aren't colored in, they are simply black.

I keep seeing the "contains 17 items" message over and over, but still no backpack and now I'm frozen and can not move. This is followed by a "Not Responding" in the heading of the UO window, which then is followed by a "Send Error Report" popup...

I found the issue. It was the pirate hunting quest. It left shackles on my deck. Disregard.

This is an interesting one...

Not quite sure what triggers it, but non-static placed decorations by EMs and such are now sometimes showing on the radar map, at least so long as you're some distance away from them.. if you move closer they vanish off the map. This snap shows the decoration outside of the LS Skara Brae Community Center... a hopscotch board, some flowers and etc.

Honestly I like this, but it would be better if they didn't vanish when you close in. Almost seems like it only shows when its on the outside edge of your update range. Not everything seems to be able to show either.. the WBB deco isn't on there, for example.

Im even seeing Hay and Wheat in the fields show up on my map, and the spawning veggies.. its actually kinda cool, though i'd expect this may have some large part to do with what's causing the major lag.

On the positive I can finally get accurate maps of all those add-ons to the dungeons.

I have tried clearing my patch files..

and I dont have any Altered Client Files or anything like that..

Vaelix, find your patchlog file in your main UO folder and look for any info towards the bottom of it indicating a bad/missing file. The patchlog file is a plain text file but has no extension on it, just open it with notepad.

If you can uninsure it and it is still blessed then that sounds like a bug fix to me. If this is true, I'm glad this item is finally like all of the other spellbooks.

Ugh, just checked Atlantic Felucca and they wiped the walls/structure of the seer building there that was suppose to be saved last time around.

If you put the boat recall rune into a runebook and use it to recall to your boat it resets your default ruin and it can not be used. You must reset the default to the ruin you want, but next time you use the boat rune, you must again reset your default to what you actually want.

This is an issue with alot of NPCs, most notable is the stables in certain towns. Been an issue for a LOOOOONG time.

Invised Greater Drags while on boat did not invis them. Only turned them grey with yellow name tags. Kind of like Medusa does to the before an evil twin of it spawns.


You can see the one highlited is yellow tag and can also see the 2 other "invised" ones are grey still.

Bug:

Tokuno ship won't cross server line by voice command. When I say "Left", and sail from the Serpent's Hold jungle to the server line, the ship stops and won't cross the boundry. Saying "Left one" doesn't get me accross either.

Well maybe on your shard but on GL's there is still a bunch of junk. I noticed it on the far North Side of the Island there is still quite a bit of junk as well as all around where the Moongate was.... that's still loaded with junk...... the dock has mostly vanished..... but there are still ladders to nowhere... And various other things scattered about the island.... but yes the Museum that was on GL's is pretty much gone save a few bits and baubles.

Unfortunately, the Villa of Rilla Takhista in Felucca Magincia on Europa is also gone
The building no longer exists - only the decorations and second floor added several years ago by IGM Talos are left floating in mid-air.

i got this when i gated to another place and left my greater back at spot. then logged out and in and it said i had 1/5 spots taken and it said it would leave my greater in the stables.
i eventually gated back to where my greater was and it was ok and i was back to 5/5

i might have used the key on boat to gate onto it that caused this.

bug: ? cant get the bait to work.

Someone might throw some thigh boots at me, but it seems like fishing up the new fish doesn't consume the fish in that resource square. If some low skill fisher is there with you fishing up the regular fish then they will stop biting.
