OEQ items (of exceptional quality) are in abundance, they were available twice in the course of their lives and the second recurrence lowered their value a bit. That would have been for a few months in 2003 I think. Anyways you can find them from 25k upwards of a few hundred k, depending on the item, depending on the shard. I'd say on a busy shard an OEQ lantern might go for 100k but I don't really deal in those items. And who really knows with today's prices...
Multi gem jewelry does not go for much nowadays, there is tons of it. Anything under 10k gems is pretty much trash unless it has sentimental value or you find the one guy in UO who hasn't bought a piece yet.
Items with charges are still plentiful and generally do not sell. Exceptions would be some of the bless items that use non useful slots like the earring slot, though my memory is hazy on if there was bless jewelry or if it was confined to armor/clothes. I've heard of some of the 90 charge bless stuff going for 1m. Generally if I find the prepatch AoS items that give stat bonuses or even invis/teleport stuff I just dump it. Not worth trying to sell it TBH.
My "420 Diamond Weddingband" thats 1 ring
People seem to think weddingbands go for more but I have yet to see evidence of it. I'm sure the drug reference would interest someone. Maybe get 100k for it, maybe more?
The examples you gave for the sewing kits:
A _____ of exceptional quality
exceptional
etc
I sell for 25k apiece on Baja. This stuff siiiiits on the vendor till some xsharder or the odd collector swing by and buy most of it up. I'm sure on busy shards these things will go upwards of 250k apiece. This is not the super rare nice stuff though.
The super rare tag has exceptional in [] brackets. Pieces should look like this:
A Crate [exceptional]
Exceptional
If I had to estimate there is probably 1 piece of this type of item for every 100 of the other sort. Possibly even rarer.
Runebooks sell well on Baja for 50k of the first time (A runebook of exceptional quality) and go for 2-3m or thereabouts for [exceptional].
Clothing/armor doesn't do as well as items unless it is the rare variety in a nice wearable slot. Non rare but older tagged clothing would be "A tunic of exceptional quality".
Rare armor would be "Chainmail Leggings Made By RedDevil [Exceptional]". Rare clothing would be "A feathered hat sewn by Sarah" and
Sandals [blessed]
Blessed
Sometimes they might be
Body Sash
Crafted by Victorias Secret [blessed]
Exceptional
Blessed
Or you might get
A Floppy Hat Made By Julieanna [Exceptional] [blessed]
Blessed
Sandals seem to be the most common thing that are double blessed, but they still sell well since the foot slot isn't often taken up by anything else. So something wearable that doesn't take up a valuable armor slot will sell better than something that does.
Color can matter. I have a double blessed pair of lep boots (very dark nearly black color) that are worth 10 times what they would be if they were just double blessed boots. Lep boots still have value even if not blessed, so keep an eye out for those.
Some items ended up weird during the AoS conversion. Like they will have lines that say "1_val" instead of how many charges of whatever they used to have. I have a studded bustier that says "valorite studded bustier" that got converted because it was the same hue as valorite and got converted that way. I also have "A Robe" and "A Faction Robe", both wearable.
If you played just past AoS there was one month after it launched when you could make clothing with the "green" tag. You had to have barbed leather selected when making clothing. It was just a novel bug and nothing worth really exploiting at the time (especially since I think that was when they stopped making it so bone armor would be hued so a lot of us were trying to collect our sets of that). As it turned out later, "green" clothing is able to be dyed by ToT dyes, which made it a way to get paragon gold and invuln blue etc colored clothing, and it's value shot up.
So "Green Robe" etc go for 1-2 mill, and sell better unblessed (dyed then cut up for the cloth and remade).
Ok that write up took me half an hour. And that was a really small subset of rare items that you might or might not have. I hope that illustrates my point that we need some kind of direction and a show of effort in order to be helpful. Aaand maybe makes up a little bit for me being so brusque.
