Lately I've been seeing all these items around with different names than you would expect... kind of like the green thorns that are named arrow. Are these items really rare of is it a bug EA has chossen to over look?
Care explaining how?Anyone who claims to have bought these items is either a) a moron or b) the person creating them.
For those who arent aware, these are all created items produced from a very simple method. Paying over 10K for any of these is not advised considering there is nothing rare about them.
BTW...please notice the weight of these items...all one stone. (may seem insignificant...but this has a lot to do with HOW they are created)
At last! Someone finally comes out and states how to spot a duped item!BTW...please notice the weight of these items...all one stone. (may seem insignificant...but this has a lot to do with HOW they are created)
There are enough people out there now taking advantage of this bug, and I don't care to add to the list of morons trying to peddle these knock offs. So no, I will not help you nor anyone else who asks...all I will say is buyer beware.Care explaining how?
I will not turn in any more bugs or dupes, I will simply try to educate the public on them when I see posts concerning them.At last! Someone finally comes out and states how to spot a duped item!
(I'd been wondering about that - real assemblies weigh a ton).
Out of interest, in case anyone knows, when was the dev team last informed of the method in concern? Considering how long this is going on (and that some of these methods have been posted on these boards), it must've been months ago now.
Those are not the mushrooms that are in Heartwood. The ones in heartwood are Miniature Mushrooms. Thats labeled "Mushroom".....But yes...they look like items that just lost their original titles. They are items that got bugged somehow and lost their proper title is my assumption. As for the mushroom... got to heartwood... they are all over the ground free for anyone to pick up.
Its been said many times on this forums how the green thorns, orange petals, rose of trinsic items have had there names reverted to the original default name. These items are created from a bug with the stealing skill. At the beginning of the year there was a bug that allowed stealing to re-hue an item which was coined as the world gem bug exploit (it was displayed on the in game uo splash screen for some time). The re-hue has been fixed but the renaming is still a problem. I doubt there will be a fix for this anytime soon as the bug is quite random.Lately I've been seeing all these items around with different names than you would expect... kind of like the green thorns that are named arrow. Why am I not surprised by this response?Care explaining how?Anyone who claims to have bought these items is either a) a moron or b) the person creating them.
