The fastest I have ever seen a FoF ever to be posted, and at the same time a bit scant on the SA info. But I guess that they have a reason for that (beta and all).
I do believe that we have covered the question of the champ spawn artifacts a few times now, in posts, on the herald and many more places.
So that would mean we are still owed a FoF question. Repeats don't count, and I do believe that that question has been asked in another FoF.

Maybe UHALL should stick all the FoF Questions in one thread and keep editing the new thread as FoF questions come out.

So people know what was already asked.

That would be a very long list.... 260 questions.

Does the chance of a Rares/Deco/Replica drop at the Valor/Spirituality/Humility/Tokono Champ Spawn increase based on how much of the spawn you kill & if so,does it only apply to one spawn session or does your chance reset each time you log out or start a different champ spawn? Is killing the early spawns cumulative until I get an artie?
The person who worked most of the spawn (earned the most points based on number and difficulty of the creatures killed) has the highest chance of receiving a replica. If that person doesn’t win it, then all the people who earned enough points to qualify for the replica have an equal chance at it, including the person who worked it the most. The points reset each time you start a different champ spawn. Logging out doesn’t reset your points. Only defeating the boss does. Points are altar specific so earning points at Altar A doesn’t count towards earning a replica at Altar B.
-Sakkarah

"The person who worked most of the spawn (earned the most points based on number and difficulty of the creatures killed) has the highest chance of receiving a replica. If that person doesn’t win it, then all the people who earned enough points to qualify for the replica have an equal chance at it, including the person who worked it the most."

So, as long as someone stays until the champ is dead, then they qualify for an arty.

"The points reset each time you start a different champ spawn."

In other words: When the champ is dead, everyone's points reset.

"Logging out doesn’t reset your points."

So, if I log out BEFORE the champ dies, I can log back in and accumulate more points towards getting an artie? This statement makes NO sense at all! What this tells me is that if you log out, you can continuously add up points until you feel that you have enough to win the artie.

"Points are altar specific so earning points at Altar A doesn’t count towards earning a replica at Altar B."

So, if the above statements are true, and you are good enough to participate in MULTIPLE champs prior to any of the champs dying, you can, in essence, accumulate points on multiple champs, THEN when you think you have accumulated enough points to get an artie, you can stick around (not log out) and have a VERY HIGH chance at receiving the arty drop.

When the champ dies all points towards that specific spawn is cleared. If your not there anymore wont matter because you only work up your points towards that specific champspawn and champ.

Yes imagine the tally as written on the alter and not with the character. The alter keeps track of the points in any spawn.

So it's like buying a ticket to a raffle. The more spawn you kill, the more tickets (chances to win) you get. Once you have a ticket, you don't have to stay there during the spawn. But you have to be there when the winning ticket is annouced (champ dies)... if you have the winning ticket. If you aren't there a new winner is drawn.

At least that's my impression.

Given the uselessness of certain powerscrolls would it be a good idea to rebalance each skills abilities to better fit across the board?
Rebalancing skills is a long term goal not exclusively linked to powerscrolls. But for the short term, we have been exploring ways of making low level powerscrolls and stats scrolls more desirable. We’ll be able to provide you with more info once we’ve ironed out the last details.
-Sakkarah
I really hope this means that these things will become more desirable to end-users of the items. Would really hate to see something else introduced that makes them only desirable to the folks who want to go to Fel and get them and therefore they stop selling them to the folks who don't want to go to Fel. During last year's spring cleaning event, it got to the point of being pretty ridiculous on some shards trying to find stat and power scrolls to buy to use on your characters.

Oh well...will probably be just one more thing added to the game to try to lure folks to Fel to get these things for themselves and the only folks who will benefit from the change are people who already play in Fel and like to do champ spawns. What else is new. I know we need more things added to the game to make it worthwhile to play in Fel. However, I really hope that what ends up being added actually encourages trade between the two groups, instead of further alienating them.

Hehe... re-reading saks post I think I was wrong:

"The person who worked most of the spawn (earned the most points based on number and difficulty of the creatures killed) has the highest chance of receiving a replica. If that person doesn’t win it, then all the people who earned enough points to qualify for the replica have an equal chance at it, including the person who worked it the most."

So it looks like highest point accumulated gets a roll of their own against all other participators. If they loose that roll then all who participated in killing the spawn have an equal chance.

Interesting logic. The high score gets two chances at winning in a sort of sampling with replacement logic. Seems like a nice incentive.

But all getting equal chances if the high score looses the first roll seems a bit unfair. In this logic I can stick an unattended archer on the sidelines shooting strays and have a pretty decent chance of getting a drop.

That explains why people come, kill two things and get a drop.

I wonder what will happen when imbuing is mainstream? Crowds lined up on the sidelines... waiting for the last level of the spawn... so they don't scratch their armor?

Depending on what the starting durability is, it really wouldn't be a huge deal. If you wait as long as possible before repairing, gear lasts a LONG time.

What is the actual damage increase in combat when you have 100 lumberjacking skill?
Is it still 30-35% damage incerase like it was in renaissance or was it reduced to the same damage increase as inscription; 10-15%? Lumberjack provides a damage bonus of +10% at GM.
–Leurocian
The use of the bolding in this entry confuses me; the question seems to continue well past it...

So to be clear on this, Lumberjacking provides no bonus until you reach GM, and when you do, that bonus is a mere 10%?

Do you have to have the crafting skills to be able to imbue an item? No, but crafting skills are useful for creating base items to Imbue.

Excellent. This is good news for my artificer.

This was my understanding from the beginning, but I had heard differently from someone else. Fortunately I have skills set aside in either case but I'd much rather have a separate crafter and artificer.

>> that bonus is a mere 10%?

Why not just say 1-3 pts base damage for a skill that was killed? It's a mule skill now and should not have Any damage, the old days are over. This change was thanks to posts on stratics by people getting their arse handed to them.

Suggestion for the powerscrolls:

Combine 10 x 105's = 110 (all of same skill)
Combine 10 x 110's = 115 (all of same skill)
Combine 10 x 115's = 120 (all of same skill)

or maybe 5 of each, but certainly scalable and would make all scrolls valuable once again.

I like that idea. A person wouldn't have to search half the shard just to get a 110 PS of that specific skill, that most likely gets dumped or used for "blue" bait.

Yes, good idea, I had the same thought except you would need to turn them in to a NPC soothsayer who lives in a little hut hidden deep in a PVP area of the Stygian Abyss. And you would need to turn in 10 of each, except for 30 minutes each day when it would fall to 5 each. Then guilds could fight over and protect access to the NPC. Also, you could kill the NPC and he won't respawn again for 1 hour.

I love that idea, it'd level out the prices as well. I could start playing some of my old characters again and max them out.
