It won't be an absolute necessity to have Item ID... the ingredient you get from unravelling will be based on its overall intensity. The BBE mod for KR shows relative intensity by color (which you can modify) and does a decent job of indicating overall quality of an item just by color of the properties. With a little practice, you can tell at a glance when you have a good or exceptional item.I am going to need a second crafting mule for all the skills I need now.

We where told the same thing, to contact the local police. The Police tell us we have to know the the IP address that the hackers where using. Called EA back, and guess what...they can't release that information as it is confidential. Call the police back give them the number to EA. They tell me to hire a lawyer to get a subpoena for the information. That's my understanding of it and, with the KR UI mods available even now, it's a simple matter of a mouse-over to tell at a glance what a given item will return. Heck, I even wrote a spreadsheet that would do it for armour pieces, and I'm not at all mathematically inclined.Didn't they say

That's an interesting idea there. I'll ponder on that and discuss it with the team.Devs: Any chance we could also see a bump in item unravelling worth for having GM Item ID? Say, 50 points? Some KR - and I assume soon to be SA - mods already display the relative worth of item properties in a colour-coded scheme, so.. you could probably (once again) do without Item ID via the right choice in CUI's.
A bump on the unravelled material would be a better reason for having the skill, much like Arms Lore gives a mild but desireable bump to crafted items.

Please do give this strong consideration, particularly in view of the change to relic fragments requiring 450 intensity. The proposed item id capability seems like it will already be possible as a KR mod once the intensity formula is known for each property. So it would seem pointless to get item id skill if there is no bonus. At least for people using mods (or 2d illegal loot scripts which can probably be modified to do the same thing).That's an interesting idea there. I'll ponder on that and discuss it with the team.

Does the item possess more than 5 item properties due to crafting (i.e., has gotten exceptional weapon damage bonus for free). If so, we make adjustments for that so mid level runics don't provide an abundance of relic fragments.

While it may not affect you or many people at all, virtual theft is very much a crime and illegal in the United States.Your kidding right?? Bother the local police department because your "virtual non existant" items are being stolen? I think that the local police have more important things to do than chase down some potiential virtual thief. This is about as bogus as a 3$ bill.
Very Very cool features in the listing of Values there Diggity! Sure hope all that extra numeric information makes its way into a skin we can all use. *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*:bowdown:>450 for relic fragments! wow. >450 is really rare as monster loot (champ/peerless/doom gaunt) Guess fragments will be used to make some super stuffs. If the imbue/unravel system lived in its own world, that would sound ok to me, even without knowing what each ingredient does.
But as you point out, runics are potentially a good source for ingredients. Valorite hammers still seem to be readily available. Even if adjusted so DI, mage armor samurai pieces arms lore/except bonuses reduced/negated, seems val runics could routinely pound out relic fragment level intensity items. If the limit is set to 450, I'm afraid the vast majority of relic fragments will be from val runic throwaway items. Unless there is a way to otherwise get >450 intensity items, it seems like this system is being setup for the bod scripters and more val hammer duping. Please also consider unraveling uncursed arties.
BTW, here is a screenshot of a KR mod that shows intensities on hover over. I realize some of my intensity conversions may be off at the moment. In particular, I don't adujst armor for the various except/arms lore/material bonuses.
Concerning the crafted armor with exceptional/arms lore bonuses, I realize the sleeves are not eligible for unravel since they are made with horned. But without the material/arms lore/exceptional bonuses, I think they'd have an extra 13 resists as a 5th mod. (assuming these have arms lore bonus, 50 - 37). So these would actually be about 380 intensity?
