Why is it ridiculous? If you want your scrolls, fight for it, kill it, defend it, if not, then get out of fel. simple.
I don't want to go to Felucca only I'm forced if I want to get my hands on 120 Powerscrolls or pay through the nose in Luna because that is how the current system is set up.
I have no desire to engage in part of the game that has been absolutely watered down to no end with special moves ie dismounting garbage. PvP today is an absolute crock compared to the UO:R era where actual 'skill' was involved. PvP needs a complete overhaul.
Add to that the vast majority of players that do engage in PvP are complete "punk kids" that have absolutely no class. It is my wish and my perogative to distance myself from these "Punk Kids/Greifers/ Anti-Social misfits" players as I have no desire to have any interaction with them and that includes engaging in PvP with them especially under the current system.
I have no desire to chummy up, create, and organize a group of players or guild at this juncture in UO in order to compete for Powerscrolls within the current PvP system.
With all that being I've yet to see one good reason why Powerscrolls are limited only to Felucca and why the current system is set up to completely nullify the time and effort those players put in who actually work the spawn in order retrieve the powerscrolls.
If the Dev's want to promote PvP then they need to change it back to something similiar to what it was during UO:R and not make Powerscrolls PvP related.
And PvP in my mind has always meant competing on a level playing field testing your metal to see how good you are at PvP'ing that is not what occurs in most scenerios during a raid at a Champ Spawn. A larger group usually swarms in on a smaller and less experienced/seasoned group of players. Numbers wins bottom line...
Anyhow I'm of the opinion that the healing of Champion Bosses is total garbage. I don't care if all of stratics posters or everyplayer in UO thinks it's a good thing.
It's ridiculous.
