I've taken several glasses out and no change. I'll play more with it. I don't have a house on the shard this is on or I'd see what happens when it locks down

just tested this .. seems it will give out 20 glasses of eggnog before it empties. then when you dbl click it, it will ask which ingredient you want to add,Milk, egg, sugar or liqour.

what does the empty pot say when click on? If eggnog in it will say a 'pot of eggnog'. empty??

If you choose the garland, you appear to always get six pieces of it (in a gift box that also includes one candy cane and a Christmas card with a dev's name and your character's name on it). I chose the garland for three characters on Yamato and two of them got three pieces facing one direction and three pieces facing the other direction. The third character, however, got four pieces facing one direction and two pieces facing the other direction. So you just might end up with a set of garland that doesn't drape the way you want it to.
I don't have a house there, so I can't tell you how easy it is to position the pieces, etc.

Here are screen shots of the other gifts (eggnog shown full and then with one of the mugs of eggnog that appear in your pack if you click on the pot, an icy patch, the set of five snow piles, and the Christmas tree deed). You can take the mug of eggnog out of your pack and set it down, but I don't know if you can lock it down. When you drink the eggnog, you get a message about having a warm and fuzzy feeling. Then you hiccup. And then your character doubles over but doesn't say anything. I'm not sure if that happened because mine drank two mugs of nog or if it happens randomly. Also, I had two chars claim the icy patch and it was the same graphic both times. Don't know if there are other graphics for that gift or not.

I love the gifts! think my favorite hasto be the eggnog pot, saw them in a shard i dont play so no house to test the ice patch.. if it makes youfall on your butt it might bump it's way to top favorite hehe.
only thing that dissapointed me is I thought we'd get 5 new things. It's great that they added an option for the holiday tree but there are so many of those ingame I don't think too many ppl will be wasting a choice on it.

Just got a look at this years gifts and WOW I am absolutely impressed. I think this is the first year since 2004 [hey, I loved the potted plants heh] That I have really loved the christmas gifts.
