maybe one 120 Scroll per Account,or one 25 Stat per Account,
or a "piece of deed" if you have appropriate number you can choose 1 of all existing artifacts

Is this the only item that you can get a rare roll on? I foresee alot of icy patches being picked.You can turn them with a house deco tool and you can dye them with a normal tub
There is one other graphic for the icy patch, but that one is a rare drop. I think I have it at 1 or 2%.

I plan on several icy patches, but not because of the chance of a rare one. 'Rare' doesn't interest me, but 'Fun' does, and they are fun.

Excellent. These will actually suit me all year round.
I have a waxwork museum sorely in need of a pot of wax in the workshop (eggnog will do for now), and some snow piles will be handy for the Lady of the Snow and Ice Fiend exhibits.

Question for Regine: Is there a deadline for using the ticket to claim your holiday gift?
Nope, you can use the ticket in 2 years from now if you want, that will be fine. You only have a deadline on claiming the ticket itself (January 19, 2009).
Yes, the icy patch is the only gift with a rare drop. Well that is if you discount the special colored gift boxes. But the percentage on that is higher.
Thank you for the quick reply. One more question and hopefully it's not a repeat. Will we be able to use the Christmas tree deeds all year long to set up bare trees?
Unfortunately no. Since we do not want players having Christmas tree up year round, the trees will redeed as usual past a certain date.
Thinking of it though, I might be able to only make the bare trees available past that date. In which case you would be able to use the deeds year round but only have access to the decorated trees during the holidays.
I'll look into that. But obviously you're not getting that this publish. Maybe 58, but no promises.

Its the little things that count, and that made me smile.
My husband and my son got laid off from work, at a very very bad time, but, probably anytime is a really bad time. Feeling down and out, I logged into uo, and was smiling as I opened my gifts. While this is JUST a game, it also made me feel really proud, proud of the fact that the staff takes the time to program these nifty gifts. Needless to say, Christmas in real life won't be the same, but these gifts kinda took that pain away.
I am thankful that my husband is doing everything he can to keep me going in my gaming worlds.
Thank you, to the staff of Ultima Online, for making this old lady smile, during a very stressful time in real life.

Has anyone chosen the new tree deed? I was just wondering if there is anything special about this deed. I know the older deeds have the same options as the new ones. but just for collecting resons is there any reason to get the new deeds?

I wish there was a way to dye the snow piles. I'd love to have them look like stalagmites in a cave. I tried all the various dye tubs I could find and could access with my young account... no luck. Darn you devs for being thorough!

Shouldn't make a Difference & it didn't. Just tried them again & nadda, squat, Zilch. I tried my regular shards I play on a couple of accounts & they received them fine. Just origin that's being a pita :gun:Try again after today's maintenance.

Finally the gift deeds got the character name on them - very very great (and I wish you could add them to the old deeds as well, maybe also to soulstones and fragments, all what is char or account bound and cannot be clearly associated).
But why can't I lock those deeds down?
Also would be great, if you could make all the Christmas items (old and current) make no blocking. (Although I would like to take place in the sleigh from the past.) Reindeers and the new snow piles blocking make it very hard to use them to design in a narrow house, especially if there are old potted plants as well.
And I would have prefered one item per char and not a box full of these items again. Next Spring cleaning is calling
