When you trick or treat the npcs, if you have gm begging on that charater, u have a slight chance of getting other items
Some folks are saying they are getting the heads on a pike with at little as 68 begging.

Well, I've seen several Butchers get guardwhacked there today. That might be the cause?

I think I just solved that little mystery. All The Zombie Skeletons are wandering around to the south. Someone let them out of their playpen. heh.
Ahh... was about to say they are spawning like heck Fel side and guards not even showing up when the npc's are calling.

I just got a head on a spike at 84.6! Yay!! That is the first one and I have been training off and on for a couple of days. The person who got them with lower begging must be very lucky!
Anyone know how to make a macro for the personal attendant to dismiss them on CC or UOAssist? I can summon and TOT but cant find a way to dismiss him with a macro.
So they going to do something about the Guide calling ToTing that goes on at the gates? Seems to be a little mechanic's nipple twisting going on there.

No, I can confirm guard whacking BUT it's not the skeletons; I was checking Nujel'm just now, and an NPC called Guards on the Red Butcher. It will respawn, but if the guards can still see it when it does, it'll be whacked again. You can also whack it yourself as I was able to test;
Notice the guards dont' summon again and won't attack the Skeletons next door, even as my dragon agros to them endlessly...

Last time I tried Nujelm there was a bride, a thief and a beggar npc in there. After the first butcher got guardwhacked I gave it a little thought.
I escorted the bride to Serpents hold and hired the thief and beggar with a few gp. Next time the butcher spawned the coast was clear

The data collecting continues and I'm pretty sure now that, as the variation narrows, the actual reward rate is, or extremely close too;
1 in 100 (1%) on a success for an older Halloween reward (Iron Maiden, Grim Warning etc)
1 in 1000 (0.1%) on a success for a Dev's Head On A Pike

Not as such, it looks to me like it rolls prize then again for type of prize, so you've a 1 in 1000 chance of a Head, then a one in 11 chance the head is Mesannas. Meanwhile, when I get a moment, I'm doing the next set of ToT with a Luck suit on to see if that affects the odds... I was really excited when an Orifrk dropped on the third try with Luck, but nothing's happened since, booo.
You guys need to stop using ToT as Trick or Treat, lol makes me think there is a new Treasures of Tokuno going on that I don't know about
BTW, 12 points til 68 now :O...best thing seems to be to bring a ton of Jhelom NPCs over to an isolated area and just next mobile target them all. You get enough money from begging to hire an endless supply of NPCs ;D.

Ello all! I am looking for a marco for 2d with UOAssit.. I don't want to use the Herald marco they have out there. I like to move around and do the trick or treat. Thank you for your help!
After all these years, even though I say I'm going to make a beggar I never do; every year the child in me gets so excited when I find out I still can trick or treat! - Even though I've known this all along and just keep forgetting. I still get excited when I get the old orange/gray web, or the spikey heads. Maybe I'll make a beggar for next year.....

I just make an in game macro for a key that makes my character say "Trick or Treat" and walk around pressing my macro and targeting for myself.
I guess I'm old school. *laugh*
No, it would be far, far too slow to ToToToT and stop to try and work out which candy your evil twin takes back again, as you'd need to record every single result each time you got one; but at GM BeG you don't see many of them, so the more results you get in the closer you'll get to what the true average is. It's possible I'm slightly off, but I can't see the Devs using 1 in 999 say. However below GM bEgG I think you get more Tricks? It's been years since I raised mine I'm afraid.

does one need GM begging to get the special items.... I heard GM is needed for "head on a pike" but, how about some of these other items..... besides candy.... already have my full of candy... not too mention, it's not all that good for us diabetics.
