'southern' or 'southern isles' and 'turtles' 'purple' are all interesting keywords for the mage/defence counsel. My take on his ramblings, he knows where Sutek is hiding/gone. His rantings about the Southern Isles, and purple snapping turtle wildlife hint to the black &amp; white map that Paradox pointed out:

Sutek, the little chain of islands on the map... maybe this is where we can find him? Would make sense of the purple turtles too maybe...?

Some of his responses have keywords within them, thats how it got to purple turtles... seriously =). Pacific is a nice place. Stop on by.

Unless he is in Hythloth I haven't found him yet!

In the lower corner of the map, there is what appear to be four small islands, labled Sutek.

Rachel if you look at the map provided in that link, you'll notice a small grouping of Islands just SE of Serpent's Hold.

I was also thinking Fire Island, Inu says something about the world is round. So opposite side of Sosaria is Fire Island and Yew, shadowlords faction is in Yew but..

I also searched fire island a bit, you got the demon temple there. Then you got the dungeon I searched the dungeon a lil bit but nothing there didn't really go deep in.

What im wondering is if this is an island, if it just appeared (in a 45 minute server-wide downtime) and its not on the maps? I'm just as curious after hearing things about purple turtles, and southern isles... just speculating... and sailing.

Sounds like me checking out that island near Serpent's Hold that has the teleporter on it to the Lost Lands... I figured "turtle" was close enough to "tortoise" and when you pop through that teleporter, you end up kind of close to the tortoise spawn... No dice. Still sailing back and forth and not finding anything...

Heck we haven't seen a Shad Lord since Tuesday Noon and have yet to see a Demon Berserker, so hardly surprised there aren't NPCs at the rift area. Legends gets no love

I'm beginning to think that maybe those aren't islands at all...from here..

Sutek was on the same ship as Captain Johne, when it was sucked into the Underworld, but was spared from being killed, as his other companions were. Leaving Johne and finding a way back to the surface, Sutek built a house on Spektran and researched the Shadowlords

Maybe that's just the location where he got sucked up.....he fought his way to the surface and built a house on Spektran???? Where is that???

This was all I could find about Spektran...

Spektran - In Ultima VI, it was an uninhabited island where a group of pirates buried their treasure, including a silver tablet of the gargoyle language. In Ultima VII, the island housed the mad "Sultan" of Spektran

Sutek built a house on an unnamed island somewhere north of that area and south of where Occlo is in UO. The pirates buried their treasure on a different island. Spektran was the name one island got in U7.

After 5, Sutek went insane and moved into Blackthorn's Castle on an island in the area on that map, and the island was repopulated by Gargoyles in U7, with Sutek either dead or gone, and renamed Terfin.

I doubt any of this, aside from him having built a house on a random island somewhere around there, has anything to do with whats going on in UO.
