This topic will cover conditions in Guild wars 2. I will also delve a little deeper on the conditions and how effective they are.
A quote off the Guild Wars 2 Wiki
Say you have the condition of bleeding on you five times. A condition removal skill that removes one, it will also remove the whole stack. So all 5 bleeding conditions are gone by one conditon removal skill.
Not all eleven conditions are stackable on a target. With this we now know some conditions will stack and some conditions will not. Now this could change before release or after release but this is the current information we have at the moment.
Here are the eleven conditons below
Here are some conditions that certain professions can do.
Skills that cause fear
By profession

The next conditon is blindness.

Notice how the Engineer can use a skill 'Utility Goggles' to combat blindness.
Look at the two conditions above and notice how the difference in the first condition with the list of professions compared to the second condition that has more professions.
On this one below I am using a stackable conditon as an example.
Skills that cause confusion
By profession
Mesmer
Necromancer
Again we see fewer professions in the confusion condition. Now these skills are stackable. If somebody used a condtional removal skill then these skills if were stacked are then removed if it is on once or mutiple times on a target.
Each profession will have skills that remove conditons. There are many skills to choose from. Some professions will have more than others. This list can be changed but this is the information that is listed at the moment.

When more information comes out this topic will be updated.
A quote off the Guild Wars 2 Wiki
A condition is a negative effect that can be inflicted against enemies. Currently, only through the use of skills and affecting traits can players utilize conditions. Certain conditions can stack, commonly providing a longer lasting condition than normal or an increase in damage dealt over time. When a condition is removed using a skill, the entire stack of that condition is removed.
Say you have the condition of bleeding on you five times. A condition removal skill that removes one, it will also remove the whole stack. So all 5 bleeding conditions are gone by one conditon removal skill.
