Hello everyone. It looks like the Taming Event spearheaded by Intoxication and the Silver Steed Naming Contest lead by Crystal Canyon are merging into what will be one super, exciting, fantastic evening for the Zoo.
March 17th is the date so mark you calendar accordingly and plan to be there.
However, this does not solve the long term problem of keeping our Zoo filled. The decay rate for the Zoo varies from shard to shard (so I am told) and is determined by the shard's population. The best I have been able to figure out is we decay every 3 days at approximately 160K POINTS each time. A donation of 1 Million gold gives the Zoo 66,666 points. That is about 3 Million needed every 3 days or 640 Unicorns/KiRins or 3,556 polar bears.
These seem like staggering figures I know. But look what you have been able to do so far. We obtained the Silver Steed in record time thanks to all the members of the shard participating. Our ORIGIN SHARD has accomplished something to be very proud of.
Are we going to let this effort just slip away? I sure hope not!!! Please remember to keep up your donations daily. Tamers spend an hour or so each day taming and donating pets to the Zoo. Those of you that are not tamers make a pledge to yourself to donate a portion of each hunt (maybe 10% or so) to keep your Zoo stocked.
REMEMBER THE ZOO IS FOR EVERYONE ON THE SHARD - NOT JUST TAMERS
