I debated a long time on whether to make it public and decided to make it friends only for the time being. It should go without saying as to why
I will for the time being and until it becomes a problem leave the runes on the tiles. A gate will give you a few seconds to hide or leave the area if a PK is inbound. I will friend pretty much anyone to the Hub house. Would not mind a couple of other trusted folks like Doc, Kelmo, Victim Etc to be co owned to the house so they can add friends to it when I am not around in game.
The previous hub was getting a lot of use by newer Siege players to train up skills and build up some cash reserves. I apologize for closing the the hub, but while I was closing accounts and reorganizing houses that was the best option. The Wolf House, The Fire Island House, The Ant Hole, The Orc Mine, The Ants North of Vesper and the Wind Maze house are still there or have been replaced and were the most active houses. The rest of the tiles atm the moment pretty much go my houses on various islands. I will be dropping some of those over the next week or two and placing new houses in those out of the way training and resource locations.
This hub has a few rules and tips.
#1. If you use it to AFK Macro, Script, or Cheat in any way you will be removed from the house Friends. Note I also kill resource scripters and AFKs on sight
#2. If you use it to PK in or around my houses, you will be removed. Consensual PvP is fine.
#3. If you are in a guild that actively PKs and Loots Don't even ask to be friended to the hub.
#4. If you use the hub to steal from people training around the houses, yep unfriended.
#5. If you can gate please do so from the tile runes, saves on Gate scrolls
#6. Be a good sport and drop some gate scrolls on the tiles you use now and then.
#7. The Wolf House has a anyone comod box, throw some deeds in it now and then if you use them, toss a few in now and then for the next person. It also has a public seed box feel free to take seeds or leave seeds. The wolf house is a great place to farm flax seeds, leather and relic frags for tamers, archers, mages and mystics. Not so hot for melee and lower level character that don't have GDs, or high end arch or magic skills. The Wolves are vulnerable to Demon Slayers. To the North of the Wolf House is a good place to put a ship in the water as the sea to the North and West are filled with merchant Ships and Pirates. If you are training a CU, park a boat next to yamadon point to the NW and provo the yamadon on the CU to train the dogs healing up those last points, yamadon poison is nasty stuff
#8. I will add more public items like a davies locker, crystal portals, comod boxes as I buy or claim vet rewards. I will also place a rune for the ship I keep parked at the floating sea market, don't forget to take a row boat or small ship along to go on into the port
#9. The new Vesper Ant House is in a different location than the old one. The Ants are straight down from the house. This house has a water trough and is linked with a tile to the Ant hole house for easy powder of translocation running. The Wind Maze house also has ants but is not linked to the Ant Hole House at this time.
#10. The Orc Mine House has a new neighbor and not a name I know. So use some caution but hey this is Siege so always use caution
Wear a mask of orcish kin imbued with Luck and the orc mine away. The Orc Mine is also a considered a dungeon for saltpeter purposes. I suggest taking a Bag of Sending as the ignots and saltpeter add up pretty fast down there and it is a long walk out to gate or tile back for a bank run. Lumber jacking, and low-mid level melee training abound outside the mine. There are usually a couple of dark wisp lurking about and there are always several red and blue healers in the general area.
#11. If you meet someone else at one of the houses in particular the wolf house, make a new friend and work together. Things like farming the wolves is easier with 2 as they pretty much instant respawn and it is easy to get overwhelmed there.
#12. The Wind Maze house is a multi use house with mining all around, a few seconds from the wind city entrance, and black ants. Wind counts as a dungeon for mining Saltpeter and there is a lot of GZ mining down there. Wind also has a nice array of critters Daemons, Liches, Dragons, Greater Dragons, and the Garden area of wind has Nightmares, elementals and Krakens and some gargoyles. And as a added bonus a bank fairly close and central to everything.
#13. The Fire island house sits right beside a overland ant hole, with mining to the NW and the Temple to the SW.
#14. Ocrina Island AKA Port Tyr is my main island, there is not much there besides the bulk of my houses, lumber jacking and Fishing. Ameoba Island is my original Siege house and is also mainly Lumber Jacking and Fishing.
