It's astounding the stuff people will save,one house had 100+ pumpkins I'm still can't over why people. Had large stacks of food and pointless assistant only grow simple plants with. Normal color

id say he did, honestly i got 5 mil in points and i wasnt really trying. just if i saw a box full of christmas stuff i threw it on the packys...cause people were leaving it at the ones that were down and recalling to the next

I never actually made it to any of the houses to be there when they fell - the one house I had a chance to, I was busy when it fell (see below).
My take:
A couple of low-end library things (a reading chair was nice to finally get without wasting points on one).
about 300k points worth of holiday/anniversary items to turn in
about 200k mage regs (that will also probably go to the library)
a few thousand ingots of various types
a book of about 100 BODs (there were 5 books to loot, but when someone tried to place a castle at the location, on the 2nd or 3rd placement attempt the container they were in went from being displaced to under the sign, to just disappearing on me).
60k Horned Leather, that I managed to LEAPFROG from Fel Vesper Beach to the Bank, without running into a soul (it was while doing this that the Zento house I had been watching prior to this finally fell).
My take:

LOL same here all I saw was ORNI!!!!! I was stoked when I saw the crystaline ring..... than realized they were factions...DERNIT. Best was 2 Legacy tokens I turned into Soul Stones and a pink house teleporter tile I sold to get a 3rd SS. Bout 500k in turn in points,one bag had 68 ID wands all worth 5k each. Lots of mediocre stuff that was a shot in the arm that I needed on Siege.
Was a fun day.

I know the IDOC campers were as happy as pigs in, well, you know, but this level of collapse can't happen without noticing places that you used to go to on a regular basis have fallen, without seeing huge empty spaces all over the place, without leaving a bit of a sense of dread that there were that many houses going all at once.
The Plus Side:
On the other hand, I suppose many of us thought IDOC day would be worse than it was. That castles and keeps fell by the dozens across all shards is sort of telling, but that so many other places that many of us might think otherwise abandoned still stand is a good thing, as it means those places survived the account management process and are still paying, if not playing. In short, it could have been much worse.
And yeah, I know some might be those silly RtB houses, but I suspect that's not a large number.
Regardless of anything else, I have to admit, it was a fun day from the standpoint of "what am I going to get lucky enough to walk away with," and those few baubles I got in a sea of all kinds of things certainly made my day.

I am from LS and had about 13 runebooks full of IDOCs. Honestly I thought I would do better but I am not unhappy with what I did get. Its just with the increase in IDOCs at one time there was absolutely everyone aware and at them. Even with all those IDOCS i had marked I was probably the first one there less then 5 times total.

Ya know what boggles my mind,
why is it that some folks never turn logs into boards
or stacks upon stacks of ore into ingots ?
On Chesapeake the houses right next to 2 of mine one Zento area,
one in Moonglow, I was lucky I DID live next door. I was leapfrogging
10k logs of assorted wood types, and ore that the guys never turned into ingots also in humongous heavy amts. Leapfrogged it all to my front porches.
Basically on Ches. if I saw resources, I grabbed all those I could, regs, necro regs, lumber, ingots, lots of barbed leather, etc. I will yet get these from logs to boards and hefty piles of ore into ingots, just didn't feel like foolin with em yet.
I got like several chests full of tmaps from *plainly to deviously* on Ches. too figured some one will want em *it isn't me* !
And I got some vet reward statues not like I need em, but they were in the fall too, and other stuffs on Chesapeake.
On Siege, apparently the guy who's house was next to one I plan to take over, was a fisherman. I got chests of fish quest fishes and fish quest crabs and lobsters all deeded up on Siege, from his idoc. And some tmaps, sos's, which were so few I already slapped those in a neighbor's mailbox cuz he sells tmaps I dun need em. And some SA ingredients since I do not imbue no clue what the heck all those even are !@ LOL Im sure someone will have use for em ! Got some lumber there, all wood types too. Least it was in BOARDS !!

It *the idoc glow spot* is a more perfect sail, to sail south to the High Seas dock from the new spot, than even my own was, that was next door. Bigger too. !
And yall know any spot at all on Moonglow that can hold the classic L or lg white marble or old school brick house, a 14 x 14, 13 x 15, 14x15ish, is HUGE for Moonglow house spots ! I *had* the 10 x 14 behind the lil southish wheatfield. The house that fell on Chessie, was the one in front of mine, that juts out into the sea, normally can hold the classic lg. brick house or etc. 5++++ hrs. of hell and glitchy house placements that didnt take till 4th or 5th go round of my trys & [hrs. after the idoc house, had fallen] ! Kept stayin there hoping others would give up and leave feelin like a dummie standing there hour on end tryin tryin trying ...to place till FINALLY one, stuck !!
Guess to me that house spot on Moonglow which I really wanted most, is the BEST loot I got ...that spot with all the malfunctioning house placement tool etc, which we all went thru to place at all, anywhere !!

Long time on/off player here, with the last year or so being mostly "off". Did I miss my chance at the IDOC action for the most part, or is it still a worthy endeavor to run around looking at house signs? Nah, there will still be IDOCs. It just wont be 200 per server in one day again for awhile. Per server Id say maybe an average of 2-8 a day from here on out.
200?! Wow, I missed a pretty monumental event, it seems. And hey, 2-8 a day is still more than I was finding years back, when I had time to invest =P.
Any suggestions on where the best luck would be? I'm on LS, and I can't really determine whether Tram or Fel is more populated, since neither seem to be.
