I've been back in the game for almost two months (been playing on and off since '97), and I gotta say, this was the most fun I've had ingame in quite a while! Took a personal day off from work and it was totally worth it. I think I was at a bit of an advantage because I have 4 bonded packies from my recent transfer to Atlantic.

Only downside is that I was very disappointed at not being able to place a house--my tool did not start working until about 4 am PST and then would only place and go poof shortly after. Will try again tonight when I get home from work, but I'm betting that by then most spots will be gone.
5 hours of nonstop looting, over 3k+ items (will be sorting for days!), but so far the highlights are:
* full set of virtue armor + extra couple of pieces
* 5 year ankh deed
* tons of deeds from heritage token items
* huge collection of statuettes and stuffy mongbats (probably 15-20 statues in all, including Vesper rewards)
* 6 matching colored lamp posts
* tonssss of double exceptional stuff, tons of old charged items
* about 100k plain boards, tons of colored boards, tons of ingots of all types, tons of leather
* enough potion kegs to last me 'til I die (200+)
* 10th anniversary sculpture
* codex of virtue, 2 ultima banners + 12th anniversary ticket
* dragon brazier
* dawn's music box
* set and a half of daemon bone armor
* Lucky necklace
* Ankh pendant
* 2x ancient hammer +30
* 2x of those Ricardo's Ancient Lamps that Larisa mentioned
* Lamp of Spirituality
* 2x Jade Snake Head
* 10k dragon blood, 6k daemon bone, gobs of peerless resources
* 7 pigments of tokuno (each only one charge, boo

but good colors!)
* 4 rubble plants
* blessed blue AoS launch sandals
* mini-house deed, don't remember what type

think small stone tower.
* tons of holiday turn-ins, including several full sets of past anniversary packages, going back to 5th anniversary, including lots of crystal deeds. Need to decide what I'm keeping and what I'm using for turn in points.
* tons of arties of all types (crafted, minor, doom, virtue, stealable)
* a bunch of other things that I am not sure of the price/rarity, will be doing quite a bit of research in coming days to figure out what's rare or what has been common when I haven't been playing.
* a bunch of other stuff that I haven't even begun to sort through!
worst items:
* so many super junky weapons! My own feelings of packrattishness have been validated by seeing how many players keep their homes. Honestly!!
And my personal favorites (a responsible IDOCer is a responsible player!):
* 3 full (used) soulstones, which will be turned in to Andrasta's soulstone garden
* a handful of player-written books, to be turned in to Halister's Grand Britannian Repertory Library
* Also really stoked that I got several partial sets of colored seeds, I'm something of a gardener and I had to leave a lot of my seeds/mothers on Baja due to transfer space limitations.
A question to those who participated in the IDOC madness last night: do you feel that you were at an advantage by knowing where to stand to reach the "upstairs" loot? I got almost all of my statuettes and all the colored lamp posts at one IDOC that was crawling with 7-10 people, but no one was going for them because they apparently didn't know where to stand to grab them. Just curious
Hope everyone had fun!
