well i finally figured out my stratics password so i thought id hop in and say hi.

i know its been years . too many . how y'all been ?

id given up all hope of renewing this account as i couldn't remeber my password for the life of me . this account was linked to a defunt e mail adress so i couldn't even use the standard password retrieval . but , something popped into my head and i tried it . low and behold ...

im back !

its been forever i know (sarsmi tells me almost 7 years)

anyone else remember me ? i used to be in the (SnR) guild on siege. (Unclesham Borg and El-Ninio)
well more precisely uncle and el were . borg was guildmaster of "The Collective" (ONE)
ive been told theres some borg on siege today . are any of you remnants of my guild or just fellow star trek fans? iether way id love to hear from you.

ive been chillin on lake austin since it went public . yeah i can hear the name callin already .. ya damn trammie ... yep thats me . i took the easy way out and well , frankly im gettin bored with it. somethin within me calls for a good can opening.

so here i am back on the siege bord . ive logged in with my guys on siege now and then but really havent done anything . 2 of em were still wearin double exceptional suits . my tower is still there (grandfathered in) the guildstone still stands.

all my guys are multiple gms but no more as we didnt have powerscrolls when i left . my armor and weapons hopelessly outdated. *shakes head* these used to be top of the line digs ...now useless.

well unless someone wants collectors items hehe.

speaking of which , i do have some nice old school rares i would like to trade for some modern equipment.

living for so many years on this "safe" shard has been nice .. pleasant .. relaxing ... aka ... dull
not that i intend to abandon my friends here , but i would like to start spending more time on siege and see if this game can still make my heart race.

trouble is im so out dated anything i do is met with almost sure death.
granted its exciting .. for a few secconds (woot . yay me . i managed to run away) um ... not what i had in mind. *glances longingly at a still unopened can*

if anyone can help me get my guys up to speed id be very gratefull . i have old stuff here . lots of neet stuff i can trade on lake austin . legends and great lakes. ive got shard traders on every english speaking shard that have been collecting presents since the old chrismass ticket days.
you wanna trade some stuff post here or pm me . im not greedy . i just want half a chance on siege . what ya got?


im also looking for a guild to hang with. i been around since a few months after beta . i "grew up " in fel. long before trammel existed. so yeah i do know a few things.

i have a tamer mage , a parry macer with archery (hey it used to work) and a nox mage . all of these are seriously old school profiles and will have to be updated . but if i can get some scrolls and descent equipment i know how to build ... yes its been a while since i delt with ROT but i believe i can manage.

i hear ya say . but you been a trammie for years how can you fight the new profiles . well ... stubborness mostly . lets see if anyone remebers how to deal with my style pvp . hehe .

truth is i WILL need some instruction on modern warfare . but im a good listener . so yeah i need a guild . someone who can take a little time and teach me what ive missed. i promise to return the effort in fold.
those who remember me will tell you i was honest and loyal . what more could you ask ? (a duel core processor and a 6 meg connection ? ... got that too)

Your guys got a hard start on Siege.
Siege lost old RoT and it was replaced with powerhour. That gave is alot of fast growing wannabe PK's they hit hard on your young guild.
It was a crazy time.

hi freja . yeah that was a crazy time alright . i hung with dead eye and elachim.
when they quit things kinda went south for me and i split for greener (easier) pastures.
i do remember your name altho i dont remember if you were in the snr guild. i must have met you a few times as i never used the "El-Ninio" name here on the boards. glad you remember me.
el is a strange story . originaly he was a tamer (had 2 mares in the stable) then i dropped taming completely and took up poisoning . he still has the mares . they wont listen to him of course lol . but he can take em out and ride em for kicks and giggles =)
by the way . both his mares are seriously prepatch if anyone wants to contribute to my return to siege fund i might be convinced to sell one . not both tho i get a kick out of having a zero tame guy riding a mare ... especially on siege .

I was guildleader of The Dark Outlaws (TDO) and The Dark Merchants (TDM)
I was known as The Queen of the Outlaws, my other char TinaTink was running TDM.
We was lokated in the village east of Est Brit Bank, the willage was known as Brit Bay Village.
Your guild was lokated north of the road and Falling Angels (FA )was lokated at the peninsula.
It was a sad day when Dead Eye desided to quit, he was a good friend of me too.
I remember when you could ride a mare with zero taming and they would auto attack reds.

the SnR keep was located in the mountain pass north of brit east bank.
there was a patio house i believe, in the early days , just north of the vesper minnoc road. but they got the keep shortly after i joined so i didnt see much of the vesper house . i remember dead eye chassing my newbie around the vesper house . (ele took me to meet dead eye ...never even warned me)

he eventually killed me (i guess they killed every potential recruit to assess their worthyness) but he said he was impressed that i lasted so long and promptly guilded me . =)


edit = i believe the first SnR house was this dinky little thing on the road east of yew (way east above the mountains ) but i only saw pictures of that.

dead eye was the moderater of the stratics Spiels and Rants forum . much like Kelmo here . wise powerfull and much respected ... altho a tad *caugh* irreverant . lol

i had been reading / posting on snr for a while and a rl friend (Elahcim) talked me into coming to siege . join his happy band of lunatics from the SnR board .

i hadnt been there a week or so when i got the chance to meet the famed "Dead-Eye" .

i meet DE and we chat for a few minuits "yeah i seen this and this on the board . welcome to siege .. yada yada". next thing i know *ching* my healthbar is cut in half . "Dead-Eye is attacking you"

of course my first instict is flight (hey im 2 weeks old) so i book . take off round the corner of the house . i always put 50 hiding on my newbies . handy little skill to have at first . so round the corner (hide) *poof* gone .

i had him quite aggrivated for a while there . he couldnt catch me on my little llama. hehe .

my tamer was always good for keeping me and everyone else i knew on a horse.

i really miss those days now and then ...

Many people believe llamas move quicker because they are smaller... does anybody know whether that is true? Usually ethy llamas go just a bit more expensive than their equivalent horses and ostards.

the llama speed thing . from what i hear all mounts have te same speed mathmaticly . the difference is the llama is a smaller elecronic picture . thus it takes less time to compute / animate . the difference is quite small actually . but , mathmaticly . its there .

If you're going for combat advantage, I would choose a non-classic mount, like ridgeback or swamp dragon. In 2D, afaik, you can't drag off of the mount to get the player's health bar, which to me is a far better advantage than .000001% faster on an ethy llama
