"You have failed your escort quest"

Is anyone having the problem of getting both the "you have gained in compassion" and the "you have failed your escort quest" messages when trying to escort NPC's? I'm still being given the gold, but I can't yet tell if I'm actually gaining in compassion (which is the whole point of me doing the quest).

Same here. Been trying to keep up my Compassion but can't.

The other day I did five escorts with a character that had no compassion yet and she got some gains even though she got the failure message for each quest.

I'm still having trouble cancelling escort quests, though. One character has been unable to do more escorts since canceling an escort quest on Saturday. I thought the problem would resolve itself with server maintenance, but it hasn't. I guess it's time for a bug report....

I am getting the same message, but I am gaining in compassion each time (I know because I gained the one point to go from Follower to Knight).

I thought this was going to be fixed in that last update, musta got blown off...
Bummer,as it can be confusing, that is suposed to only happen when you kill it or quit cuse it wants to go where you cant gate to or walk to.
maybe it will get thown back on the list.
