Im attempting to dig up the corroded box. Have I not done something previous to attmepting this, that is stopping me from retreiving the box? I have kept the soggy parchment, is that a trigger to make the corroded box available for digging up?

And make sure you open the book. Someone else just copied it but didn't open it and they couldn't dig it up.

yep, just go to the farm house, be careful of the traps, if you can teleport, then jump over them to a safe location, open the dresser, read the book, then go dig
