About 1500 to 2000 'cuts both ways' should just about do it

It's a rare drop from the smith crafting quests.

thank you. I know it takes a lot to get that recipe. So, I have to find the guy who gives a quest titled " cuts both ways"? What do I have to make for that? I just did a ques that I asked me to make bascinets. I got a crappy talisman and some kind of fancy axe.

only reason for choosing the 'cuts both ways' quest is it uses less ingots than the others. It's for 10 broadswords.

and don't forget the 'crappy talismans' can be handed in for spring cleaning points when phase 3 goes live..

You do know that if you equip a Skinning knife, and then use it on whatever your want to get leather from, it does the same thing as the Butchers War Cleaver.

Just thought I'd mention it considering the cost of ingots.

I tested the skinning kinfe thing tonight...it only cuts up the corpse like any other bladed item. It does not do the same as a Butcher's War Cleaver.

The Butcher's War Cleaver only requires you to double click it and target the corpse...that is all. With that one action it will cut up the corpse,cut up the "leather hides" into "leather", and then put the "leather" into your backpack.

You do not need to open the corpse. You do not need to put the "leather hides" into your pack. You do not need to use a pair of scissors to cut the "leather Hides" into "leather". It is all automatic once you target the corpse.

Please help me wants recipe.

you misunderstood. The skinning knife will return cut hides to your pack, but only if it's equipped. The butcher's war cleaver can be used from your pack to do it.

Elf, you do realize that it is a rare recipe and therefore takes TONS of ingots and time? It would probably be cheaper to buy them from Petra. (a little advertisement for you, Petra!)

thanks. Since Drunk elf is a crafter I kinda thought he was planning to sell them. While it suits me to be one of the few crafters on Siege selling them, I will always share what knowledge I have of the game with whoever needs to know.

Sorry for the misunderstanding about the skinning knives. I will try equipping one tonight after I get home from work.

Petra...stock more Butcher's War Cleavers, I will come by tonight and buy a bunch. You are at the tower a little ways above the Yew Moongate, correct? (Mogluk's?).

I still want the recipe. Was just hoping that somebody was a quest junkie and might have an extra one laying around. I certainly can't afford to pay millions and millions for one. I will frequent Petra's vendor until chance brings me the recipe.
