This isn't so much a new policy as a return to an old one, Cash sales didn't used to be allowed to be posted. I don't remember when they started allowing it, or why, but I, for one, am glad they're stopping it again.

it's not the people selling the odd account, as happens here, it's those making a living from UO, mostly scripters and dupers on production shards.
does anyone find this kind of humerous?
I mean, in order to accomodate that new policy, all we have to do is say something to the effect:
"I am selling an account for 50 virtual ice cream cones. Anyone interested, contact me via icq ########"

The established brokers probally won't be effected by the return to the original policy. Those wanting to get started will have a tough time getting established.
How will this effect dupers/scripters, might have a small effect but the best way to deal with them is to perm ban. I know of one broker who was banned, and already setup again. Its sad.
