Wow....lot prices different

I was doing some mental planning of things that needed to be done, and was thinking about the discussion of lot prices here on the boards, and decided to see if there was any lots available around me in TC3 and what I'd have to cough up now to get one......so cringing I zeroed on.

Lot prices are still 3000-4000 for non-island lots.

WHY would there be such a drastic difference between TC3 and EA Land?

*whack*

Hush you.

No seriously, the cap is being tested in TC3 right now, and lot prices are that price, I wonder if the devs plan on dropping the lot prices when this cap goes to EA Land. I really think that would level things out and make it easier for those who play EA Land as their main city. I like TC3 cuz I started out there before EA Land was even open, and I just like the atmosphere, the houses, the friendliness, the whole bit. With a lot only costing 3000-4000 simoleans, that makes the 3000 a week cap not quite so hard to swallow.

To be truthful I started in TC3 before Ea Land too. In fact my very first sim EVER was in the original TC back in beta days and I kept her for years. I have actually been considering go back to TC3 to play for awhile because hey, sometimes all those little bugs and quirks can be quite humorous!

And what happens after you buy a lot or already had a lot? The cap is still 3k and still sucks just as bad

People don't go around buying a new lot every week.

I believe the prices are differant because there is no worry about the cash out in TC3 and with having influx lots into the merging of one city, like EAL, there really isn't a demand on lot buying. But I could be wrong.

Then you have the upgrade costs & building costs which is all drain money and would add back to your pool.

Then you would be buying all sorts of urm stuff to fill it with, which doesn't unfortunately.

What are the upgrade costs in TC3 currently?
