New deco items
New tileset or tilesets
Extra storage space
Customizable plots greater than 18x18??? Either new sizes like 30x30 or tower or castle size
Areas in Malas opened up to place new houses
Upgraded house tile graphics
New house craftables

Is that enough or does there need to be new Peerless, Quests, Champs too?

Someone suggested cellars. But how about a cave or dungeon. You make your own. Have guards monsters that attack people who arent friends or owners or coowners.

No...

But I would buy a booster that allowed me to have 2 houses on one account.

It really depends on what the items were, as well as how much was involved. I wouldn't pay 14.99 for two new tile sets and 10 deco items.

I think I already have done that, three times, for the ninth anniversary.

No I would not purchase a booster for just housing and some deco tiles

Only if i can customize my Castle.
And a simple cellar would be nice.
I dont need my own dungeon or cave.

Asking for a new booster right now will only reinforce the idea to the dev team that it's ok to release a halfway finished product to their customers.

I'd do it if they promised NO MORE castles/keeps. Hate landhogs. Customizable landhog? Account = closed. I'd love more tilesets, I'd like maybe a 5th floor... or more areas for housing... maybe no-spawn safe areas for houses with mines/forests/rivers? Maybe exotic landscapes? I dunno. I'd take a housing expansion, but if it adds more castle plots or castle-sized customizables I would be annoyed.

This would have to be part of the deal or its not worth it.
Then you'd have to scratch the whole deal. They wouldn't want to lose the constant revenue from extra accounts that exist solely as house holding accounts.

I do not own a castle, I never will. Same with a Keep.

That known, I do not support customized keeps and castles, but there should be 3-4 different developer created floorplans for those who own one to choose. Or at the very least be allowed to decide what the walls are made out of.

not customizable castles and keeps, just a few different preset designs... when I think of what some people would do with that much space I shudder

new tile sets might be nice, but would prefer completion of the ones we currently have, can't tell ya how many times I got to a spot and it was 'oh crap, they don't have that piece!'

so pay for new? no... just work on the old, make it better

I would but it would to include atleast some of the following:

1. Major increase in storage(%50, give or take)
2. Add a floor to my existing customizable, I am not asking for a basement, as I am confident there would be major issues with that.
3. Increased size of custom houses, up to 25x25?
4. More predesigned houses, different castles/keeps/towers available, etc. I would like to see my practical castles.
5. I do hear some complaints about training in public areas... Why not have a room you could designate for golem training and or crafting skill training. Said room could have slightly accelerated gains? Such rooms could be pre-designed and that leads me to the next part...
6. In house PvP arenas(with a bookie, yes sanction gambling)
7. Green houses, rooms that offered accelerated plant growth and or better yields.
8. Crafting rooms(Smiths shop, Alchemists lab, tailors, blah blah blah) high success chance and higher exceptional chance.

This booster could not only bring in revenue, but also be used as a new gold sink.

Nope. At this point, I doubt I'd pay for any kind of a booster. What I might consider paying for is a full-fledged expansion that is the result of a year's development work or more and has gone through a 4-6 month closed beta and a 1-2 month open beta before being released.

What I would want in the booster (not all necessary):

1. The ability to use a designer tool that would let you design a house for someone else, then they click on it when in the proper sized plot to copy the design into their saved design gump. They would then click on house customization to restore it, and they would commit from there. Both accounts would have to have the booster.

2. Tower, Keep and Castle variations as follows:
a. Same floor plans, but one can change the tile styles for the walls (whole building) and floor tiles (by floor).
b. slightly alternate floor plans; these too could choose alternate tile settings.
Examples: a castle with larger ring wall rooms but no center building or overhead walkways, a Keep with a central courtyard, but no in-wall voids, a large tower with no "wings", but a couple squares wider, and different internal room configuration, alternate versions of these and other classics such as the L-shapes and small stone workshop that replace all stairs/ladders with a few teleporters. Rotated versions of the true-L-shapes and the semi-L-shaped classics (square or rectangular foundation with an L-shaped building - there are several) so that their "courtyards" can be in any of the 4 directions, with minor changes to the interior to relocate the entrance area back to the south face after the rotation (hence the suggestion of replacing stairs with teleporters).

3. Access to place houses in areas currently set to no housing, that otherwise could legally have housing due to terrain and GZ issues.

4. Minor overhaul to servers to increase the Z-Axis allowed in-game. This would allow some places that run up on the current top-Z to have 3+roof houses that would otherwise be limited to shorter ones. This could also theoretically allow cellars to be developed later (if they reassigned the current "0" Z to be a higher number). Also, since they would be tinkering with the Z axis, they could make some of the water areas back boat-accessible (all it would take to make Justice Lake usable again would be rocks across the falls, to keep people from turning their boats into airships). Even access with rowboat would be okay.

5. Another 20%-40% storage.

6. Choice of _one_ "Enhanced add-on" to place in one's house (in the customization window) that affect crafting. These would give boosts to skills used in the house as follows:
a. Oven/grill combo: bonus to cooking, and access to new recipes that only the appliance could make (some mundane, some special)
b. Writer's Desk: bonus to scribe chance of adding properties to spellbooks, and a form of LRC that applies to scribing ingredients (both reagents and special ingredients)
c. A special mannikin and hat form that gives a bonus to enhance leather items (If they haven't yet allowed crafting cloth hats with runic properties, perhaps this would allow it).
d. A medium forge that gives a bonus to enhance metal items (smith and tinker), and to craft glass items. Smelting ore on it would give an extra ingot per 10 ingots' worth of ore smelted (rounded down)
e. A Saw table that gives a both exceptional & enhancing bonuses to carpentry, bowcrafting & Masonry items, as well as a secure container that logs could be placed in. The table could them be used to cut log piles into boards in amounts that backpacks can't handle.
These would be cumulative with any other items.
They would be placed by clicking a button in the housing menu, and targeting the desired location in the house (so both custom, classic, and revised classic houses could have them). They could be relocated as needed, but switching types would have a 7-day counter between placement.

7. The option of placing a second house of any classic design, up to 81 tiles (9x9 or 8x10), but ONLY on a different shard than you currently play. It would roll both your houses into "Grandfathered" status, to where you had to refresh one of them on a regular basis, and attempting to turn the second house into a custom house or larger than the stated limits, would make it your primary, and cause your main to start decaying.

I wouldn't buy a housing deco booster unless it included allowing a second house on the account, or a really serious selection of new tiles, including ones for rounded walls and rounded floor tiles to fit them.

A non-customizable four or five floor 10 tile diameter base tower that tapers one tile per floor to about 5 tiles at the roof would be decent. It would give my spellslingers a place where they would feel at home.

Or give us galleons we can live in as a home with a couple of decks of rooms to set up in. A mobile house in place of a Land one. No cannons, and can't be shot up or boarded.

The additional housing storage would be attractive; I would like to see booster have bug fixes and expanding/enchancing on what we already do have for game play.

If it was $15 and 20% extra storage, I'd buy it atleast for one account.

That would be it though.

Im a deco-freak and I would buy if I could costumice my castle inside the walls.tear down inside walls and use the voids. No changes that is affecting the outside, no blocking other ppls wiew. That would be awesome.

the only reason I got a keep was for the lockdowns, the keep has a lot of wasted space. they should let us customize it. i would even give up my keep for something with equal lockdowns, more levels, and smaller footpad.

i could care less for deco, the only functional thing i would desire would be a customizable cellar (which can be made to look like a dungeon) + additional storage.

the ability to own a 2nd house on another shard would be nice, but then again that would allow monthly paying accounts to be closed down so i don't expect they would ever allow that change as it would mean lots of lost income every month.

I'd only buy a booster for houses if everything listed below was included:

Lock down & place add-ons in castle courtyard (wouldn't a fountain, flowers and some trees look nice?).
Ability to recall into your house.
Hundreds of new wall, tile, and roof tile designs.
Ability to enter (place steps) on the north and west sides of plots.
Animated waterfalls, water tiles, lava tiles, and swamp tiles.
A Basement.
More lockdowns and secured limits.
Customizable keeps (the worst house design ever)

I think Castles and Keeps should be fixed so that you can use those big empty spaces.

Keeps need to have a new design period.... one that allows you into those big empty places. It's wasted space drives me crazy. HORRIBLE design anyway.

Castles... bad design.... hard to get around impossible to make "secure" areas without locking folk out of your entire home.

I think there should be at LEAST 4 different designs of each one using different designs and tile sets. If I had a good way to play with the designs I would build some good models for you but I don't have such a thing.

Also.... I would like a basement/Cellar/dungeon.... area added to my house. Something that adds the same amount of storage to my house... so if I have a castle the basement would add the same amount of storage as my castle and be the same size area... but anything smaller than 18x18 should get and 18x18 basement. Basements could be on a separate sub-server than housing... something you "teleport" to.

And there are tons of wall sets that need "finished". Corner pieces added, floor tiles added to match some of the walls, stairs finished... Stairs would be way more useful if they worked something similar to roofs.... not drop the entire set of stairs in but put them in block by block. This could make some very interesting housing designs. Also we need more things added to the outside foundation choices. There are several tile sets I'd like to use but because they don't have proper corner pieces it's just not possible to produce something that looks "finished"...

But before any of that gets done they need to fix the EC deco mode. As it currently is often times things "flag" orange in the 2d client but NOT in the EC. Having the EC hide walls doesn't hide stairs. The Circle of Transparency in the 2d client will allow you to see "through" stairs but you can't in the EC. If you use the CoT in the EC it seems to act like you don't have any floors so what you try to place on your 2nd floor ends up on the first floor...

So many things need FIXED before we move on.
