Or is it made so you cant gain in stat

because i just thought of it..

I was in stat... i put on a wand and it brought me down to 48 magery...

I wasnt gaining but would it work for me to do this?

In the early days of faction they put the change in where you couldn't gain skill in faction stat. It was a good way before to gain resist using fire fields at the time (way before AOS). So I imagine it is still in play.

However you can go to the grove and get discorded by a Satyr and gain depending on what skills you are training.
