1.) Best way to get 100% elemental damage weapons (or weapons that can be enhanced to 100%) is burning through countless low end runics. Correct?

2.) If elemental damage is rolled it will NOT count as a property (meaning f.e. a dull copper hammer can give elemental damage AND 1-2 other things. Correct?

3.) 1.) + 2.) also apply to runic fletching tools, runic saws and runic mallets and chisels. Correct?

Ok, now what is the minimum I need in the 4 different elemental damage types to still be able to enhance to 100% ?

As far as I know only the "rest" in physical damage can be converted to the elemental damage type.
So let´s assume this is the case in the following examples:

100% Cold (metal weapons):

70% cold = use agapite to 100%
80% cold = use shadow OR valorite to 100% (shadow probably best to also gain durability, so no need to powder too high)

100% Fire (metal weapons):

60% fire = use bronze to 100%

100% Energy (metal weapons):

80% energy = use copper OR verite to 100%

100% Poison (metal weapons):

impossible. correct?
There is no way to enhance anything to 100% because the other elemental damage types (from verite/copper/val) will be applied before poison damage.

Would someone please post the order in which the damage types are applied?

This means I need AT LEAST 70% cold, 60% fire, 80% energy and 100% poison on a weapon I want to get to 100% (and o.c. the rest in physical). Correct?

Let´s have a look at wooden weapons:

Only thing enhancable is cold from 60% on with frostwood. The rest has to come out 100% in damage when crafted. Correct?

Last question: can anyone confirm that the 160 luckblade/adventurers machete are still broken?

Last time I tried on test was around 4 months ago and using a valorite hammer and gold ingots I could not make anything above 140 using the 2 mentioned recipes. Thanks.

Would be grateful if someone would point me to mistakes I made or simply say: you got it right! before I go and make countless weapons :)

Thank you very much....

There is a lot on enhancing allready written in the FAQ so I will not comment on it since I might be wrong. But as for question number 1 ....I am also not sure. It might be quicker to farm certain monsters or do treaure maps or fish up sunken teasure. Think about the time you need to spend aquiring BODs and the ingots to fill them or to farm monsters for gold to buy them. It might be quicker to just farm items looking for those that are allready 100% damage type. I am not sure but it seems to me like you get about 1 100% damage item from 10 dull copper hammers and maybe another 3 or 4 that you can enhance to 100% so you do the math. I am not familiar with the carpentry created armor. I haven't messed around with luckblade lately also.

Thanks!
I should have mentioned that I am doing Bods since they were introduced so I have around 2000 Bods for low level hammers, but the ingots are the problem :)

on the smithy procedure I can not see any faults....I do it the same way....pain in the butt to get those dull-copper hammers...and it depends alot on luck to get a 100% elemental weapon....I tried to make a 100% or 60% fire broadsword and used up over 80 dc hammers without luck on fire but made 2 100% cold and 1 100% poison.

I have to say though I am quite picky when it comes to the mods....I only want ssi, mana leach, stamina leech, slayer on them, everything else gets salvaged :) even when its 100% elemental but "blocking".

As for collecting monster loot....not good enough for me since they "only" have 450 property weight...which usually hinders me to imbue it properly...I find its either all or nothing, because you are spending imbuing regs, pofs etc. on a good weapon so why go with something with 450 weight? Afterall you want the perfect weapon no? At least I do...

Good luck on on your smithing, may the RNG favor you!

I like farming the crystal deamons in Prism of Light.

Plus you get the crystals which you can turn into lenses for Medusa.

Did you kow that you can use the crystal fragments found on lots of monsters in Ter Mur to turn into crystal dust for making the gorgon lenses for medusa?

Yeah, but I don't think they spawn as quick or in such a high number in a small area. Though, if they do, I'd be interested in learning where.

Never been to the Prism of light but I find them regularly just killing toxic sliths. Not too reliable though some days lots and some days not so many. It's not consistent.
