I don't see why not, you have to drop the fish in a container and deliver it to complete the quest, the "fishing" part of it doesnt really matter. (it doesnt count them when you fish them up, only when you deliver them) Aside from that they're just normal items, I've traded them between my characters already to lock a crab down at my brit house next to my fishing vendor

You can go buy fish and use them.

They all drop into the box.

Im fishing and there is an atlantic vendor that has fish for 10k each. I buy a lot from her in addition to fishing.

And she works hard keeping it stocked and organized. I think 10k a fish is quite fair.

We've gone the other way to this and set up The Fishers Co-op. We all put in what we catch and take out what we need, and we keep the rewards/trophy fish etc for ourselves. Seems to be working pretty well

Are you talking about NPC vendors or Player vendors?
