Question: i did travesty today and tried to kill her with word of death. WOD did 16 and 24 damage after the spawn, so very low health. Why is that?

The enemy needs to be redlined or low life (20-30% life), then WOD hits like a ton of bricks esp if you have SDI 150-180, and have focus max or 6, and depending on debuts etc. Hits for sometimes up to 750-1000+ points. WOD is the super heavy hitter still nowadays, problem is enemy needs to be redlined-low hits, or it works towards the end of the encounter.

if your focus is 0, boss has to be at 5% health , adds 5% per focus level (so 30% health ). SDI works on it, but not slayer bonuses.

If you are playing in the enhanced cient, there is an option to show if the mob is redlined. A small icon will appear in the bar of the mob once it drops below the threshold.

Also with Travesty and WOD at times you could be hitting a mirror image and that at times will show low damage.

Thanks Draza! I game alone and when I was trying WoD I was getting nothing like the numbers above. Now, I know it is because I had arcane focus of 0 and I was casting it when the target was above 5% in health.
