a while back they made a change to the game and im trying to understand why?
what quality of life problem did the following fix for us?

so, historically you could animal lore your own pet over and over and over as fast as you wanted to.
which made training it super easy you could just put in a 1 second pause into your uoassist and away you go.

but now you cant.
if you lore you pet and leave the lore page up you cant relore your pet.
BUT.....
you can still spam lore anyone else's pet.

why?
what problem did this fix, im at a total loss on this.

You can always let your pet fight Gregorio , vethealing it and gain in 2 skills : lore and veterinary.

The training dot on the lore screen blocks the skill being used without closing the lore gump.

There is a close gump command in 2d, insert that in the macro, jam a coin into the keyboard and watch youtube

That's what I've been doing.

i just log in on another tamer. go tame something and then set it to follow my new tamer and lore it.... while watching youtube.

but again, what where they trying to fix by bringing this into the game?
or i guess better said.... what did they fix and inadvertantly kill animal lore?

Adding the blue button. I just use a horse, in case it goes poof.

well there are other methods, you can search up the old ghost mouse app and record a loop, or use 3rd party stuff, but the coin is fast and easy. It is the way i finished my first tamers lore way back in 02

in EC, you can record the macro, then edit the macro file to repeat 100k times or so. either or

active use can be faster, but most people can 120 lore before hitting 90 taming

Back in the day, you would vet an animal and when you gained in lore, lock your vet skill. And you would gain lore every single vet. Presume that doesn’t work anymore.

Idk but healing a pet at crazed mage can get both lore and vet to 120 easy

This works in EC. No lore gump if you follow exactly.
