I mean, whats the point to not tell us when the classic shard will be released or if it wont be released.
It will take like 1 min of your time to make a post and tell us.
If you wont then fine, I wont bother the forums again.
But if you will then I will be a happy player.

They're still discussing it. Be happy they gave you a "maybe" and not a "no way in hell", and just wait.

They don't have a yes or no answer for you, and won't for some time with everything else that is going on. The live event is coming up and will probably take us through until the anniversary, then there's the holidays to get through. I honestly wouldn't expect anything concrete to be said about it until next year. Damn, they JUST said that MAYBE, POSSIBLY, it MIGHT happen, but they'd JUST STARTED talking about it. It takes time to put a proposal for something like that together, and there hasn't been enough time yet for that to be done.

Frankly, there is no maybe for this. They are either doing it or they dont.

And where did they say MAYBE? Link plx.

Sure there is. Right now it's being discussed, so it could maybe become a yes. Since it's not a No right now, and defintely not a Yes yet either, what you have left is a maybe. So take it as something that may be a reality in the future, but as of right now it's too early for them or anyone else to say Yes or No to.

Since we haven't heard anything since then, nothing is changed. They can't say "yes" since it may fall through, they can't say "no" since they have been discussing it since AoS (according to the post), and it remains a possiblity. That means if you cornered any team member about the subject, the BEST answer they can give you is maybe. There is no yes or no until it is either scrapped or live. Even if they have a shard and they're beta testing it (they aren't, merely hypothetical), the answer is still "maybe".

But given that they've been discussing it since AoS, you shouldn't exactly hold your breath on the subject.

They haven't talked about it since AOS, it was discussed with the new dev team, which is pretty new.

And honestly, why should they bow to the whim of one person who's not even a player.

Why would anyone come back to the regular shards? If they promised a classic shard, then those people would be waiting for THAT to be released, not play the current shards.
