Why does uo kr make my computer cras hevery time I try to install it?

I run vista. It played just find until I tried to play ulima 2d, then i uninstalled kr and ultima 2d and now I can't install kr anymore. I am not going back to
2d, either. Please help because EA support staff is so screwed up.

It crashes before even the screen for windows vista that prompts me if i want to install it or not pops up

Whats the crash error it gives. Not sure about vista but maybe I can recognize some of error giberish or is there no error and just disapears?

no error message, just freezes the computer until i log off or turn it off.

I would probably re-download the installation file as it sounds like the one you have is probably corrupted.

I agree with dermott try to redownload KR from a different mirror.

Then it's probably an issue with Vista... I recommend Windows 7... other than that, someone with Vista knowledge will have to field this one as I skipped that build entirely.

UO KR worked for me before, but once i deleted it, i can't install it again. And I am not going back to 2d.

Hrm... I can only guess that you either need to make sure you're running the install file as Administrator, or get a Registry cleaner program and run it (and then defrag... basically clean out your system) or both.

i just cleaned my registry 15 minutes ago, and have been trying to run it as administrator for the entire time.
