I visited Felucca, for a brief period, to see where Lt. Crag in Cove was.
I went back to Luna, and about 30 seconds after recalling to Malas I get the desolation sound effect, and as it turned out, the desolation effects on the Malas scenery, for a second time. When I entered Felucca the first time I'd already heard it once.
I would like to know why the UO client is turning Malas and any facet which doesn't actually have a Felucca ruleset, in other words Trammel, Malas, Ilshenar, Tokuno, and Ter Mur, into a desolate landscape if I ever visit Felucca. There are only two reasons I might visit Felucca, and that is either to check faction vendors, or to find a specific quest NPC that is found only in Felucca.
I know there is an option in my uo.cfg file to turn desolation off but this is not an ideal solution to my problem. My question is why does this bug keep happening for facets that do not actually have a Felucca ruleset?
