ROT made me LOVE this game all over again !! ---check out my post(s) on training a Bard that only ROT can accomplish without ever leaving your house, NewMag Commodity Vendors, or wherever you choose to train.

pay extra attn. to the method I use for insane gains using Scrolls of Alacrity-skill gain--logging out for required cooldown-logging back in and repeating this combination with ROT timer to get 0.2-0.5 gains every time only available on Siege Perilous with ROT ...!!!!*hic*..*burp*...*hic*

It SEEMS to accept you as a master, but did it really? I mean, whats the end story here? Did you and the bull run off together or part ways shortly after? SEEMS is such a misleading term.

Not too many of you go far enough back, but some turd actually started a char here named John Wayne gacy . It was an erie sight to see him taming. Shortly thereafter, he was banned lol.

I love ROT.

I hate non-ROT chance skill gains that UO used to have a long time ago, took forever, much worse than ROT, to gain some skill types.

It's good and bad.

Saves you a lot of headaches with some skills but it's hardly "playing the game" to just sit in your house and use a skill every X minutes. I usually work all my RoT skills at once, and just take myself out of commission from actually playing on random days.

I could 120 combat skills far, far before RoT allows it, but without RoT I'd have gone insane working up poison (in the beforetimes, I hear you can gain by actually fighting now).

Agree with Wulf on it not really being "playing the game", it always feels a bit like cheating, plus I sort of enjoyed the badge of masochism legendary tamer was for me in 2002/3 on regular shard, 8 months that took me to go from 100 to 120, that's on top of paying an obscene amount for the scroll when powerscrolls were new and shiny at publish 16.
