I hope they do let the snow fall. I like it,adds a little more to the game. I have an LCD and its not that bright to me. As far as that goes.... I`ve never seen brown or off white snow falling....ever. I see no need to "make the white less white" since it pretty much mirrors RL snow....which is pretty damned white.

I know snow since I`m lookin at about 3 feet of it with more on the way with this huge storm moving across 3-4 states.

Well, it COULD be that the UO shards are all worlds that have their poles tilted at a different degree than our earth's 23 degrees. I believe if the angle was tighter (like 10) then they'd have longer winters and summers, which would reflect in our game play.

However, I do think the winter weather should have impacts -- everything should have a penalty for anything dexterity related while out in the cold and ice (which I think should apply to all "cold" areas.)

But that would be realistic and all, so not likely to happen.

Its been snowed for almost 3 days in Colorado, combined with below freezing temps, so I feel for those getting the snow now
BUT when it comes to game snow, it was just too bright to look at when pvping at the yew gate for a few hours at a time OR while running around anywhere... it was just too much =/

You can "Down Under". They traditionally hit the beach at this time of year, and barbeque christmas lunch. I don't celebrate christmas so it hardly affects me, but I can't abide the beach in the summertime.. very harsh.
