Okay, now that I've botched one attempt, here's the second try.

Petra has provided an excellent description of the various quests available to players who have purchased the Stygian Abyss expansion. I'm curious about which quests you've completed so far and what you think of the quests. (Yeah, yeah, I know polls get tiresome, but this one's pretty innocuous and maybe will give us something new to read! Saturday always seems to be a slow day in U.Hall.)

You can find a description of the quests here, towards the bottom of the page: http://uo.stratics.com/php-bin/show_content.php?content=30124.

For purposes of doing a survey, I had to group the quests into a smaller list, so you might want to make a post to clarify exactly which quests you've actually done if any of your selections cover multiple quests.

Give me a minute to add the poll choices.....

The only quests in the Underworld I've done since the SA expansion went live is Tobin the Tinker's quest for floor traps and Jaacar's quest. I did the quests offered by Gretchen, Neville, Dugan, Flint, and Vernix during the beta and not since then. I haven't done either of the Xenrr or Barreraak quests.

My feedback on the quests:

Garamon quest to enter the Abyss via the Underworld: I like this quest; however, I was very disappointed with how long it took the devs to fix the problems caused by so many people trying to complete the quest in the first few weeks.

Egwexem/Naxatilor quest to enter the Abyss via the Tomb of Kings: Another good quest. However, I'm amazed that over six months after it was introduced, no one has turned on the spawn in the Holy City on the non-Japanese shards!

Percolem the Hunter quests: Love 'em and still working on them. Since I'm such a cheapskate and only recently started working on fishing, these quests and the Axem quests are my sole source of white pearls.

Axem the Curator quests: Another good set of quests. Just wish the pottery fragments were shaped differently or something. Sort of a nuisance to toggle them as quest items when you have a cluttered backpack like I always do.

The Artificer quests: Have only done the lower two quests. Relic fragments....ummmm....haven't owned a one since beta or on Test. Haha. Someday........

Aliabeth: I really wish you took the Valentine's Day white chocolates, dear! Good motivation to keep working on cooking and to visit Ilshenar and collect cooking ingredients from paragons and/or grow cocoa trees for cocoa pulp. Sliem: Keeps me mining and I love those black boxes! Ansikart - Didn't even know he had another quest. Gotta try it out, I guess.

Thepem/Zosilem - For some reason, the ingot conversion stuff just does nothing for me plus I don't think it stacks. Have gotten a few tasty treats but always forget I have them. One of these days I'll remember to take some along on a long hunting expedition.

The quests in the Underworld: Time to actually go do these, I guess. I wish the floor traps had turned out to be more useful because it was kind of exciting to think someone actually came up with a quest for people who worked up the Remove Trap skill. Flint's brew perhaps has potential. Gretchen's probably still the snot she was in beta and I don't know if anyone's figured out how to use her reward yet. Have no use for costumes but maybe the fish would be nice to have if they can be mounted (?). Haven't tried Navrey since she was beefed up on Origin because the loot just wasn't worth it and my luck for getting artifacts seems to be nonexistent so joining the campers is a waste of time. I'd rather go make gold elsewhere and train up pets or skills in the process and buy the artifacts from someone else some day rather than beat my head against the wall while cursing the RNG gods.

Agralem the Bladeweaver: May do it just to get the cyclone and see if it's any good for the gargoyle bladeweaver I'll never make.

Farmer Nash: Maybe fun for killing some time with a low-skilled character....?

Laifem the Weaver: Unless something's changed with what you can safely place on top of the custom carpet, can't see myself completing this quest to buy custom carpeting.

Sutek: Because the mechanical pets don't bond, I haven't been inclined to want to do this quest. It sounded like a fun and challenging quest during the beta, though.

Ortlem: The Crystal Ball of Knowledge is a great item to have and this quest is super-easy. This one's a winner.

The only one i have not done is the floor traps and thats because i have no remove traps!
The one that was the biggest pain was Sutek and that was more being fast with the keyboard! The easiest was the one to get the globes!

I've done most of them, though not the full range of Thepem and Zosilem's. Thankfully Stranger saved me from that fate.
Can't write a guide till you know what the quest is. Though I admit I only took the Navrey quest, I didn't actually do it.

I have not done enough Tier 2 Thorem/Zoselim quests to get to the last tier, and considering the difficulty/reward of tier 2 I am not sure I am going to. I wasn't aware of the barter quests.

*i've done all the others on the list except for what's described above*

Is anyone else logged on and brave enough to vote and possibly provide some feedback that might be of interest to fellow players and the developers?

The ones I have done have been interesting, and a nice short term diversion. I've not done any of the actual abyss ones yet, and only a stage or 2 of the Thepem and Zosilem chain. I do the museum turn ins because they are an easy way to get ML gems for what is basically a side effect of resource gathering. Same with Percelum, but I don't go out of my way.

I like the quests I have done. I entered SA thru the Tomb of kings, so I cant do the fire island quests.

I dont have the skill to kill Navry, so I cant do that one.

I do Thepem, Percolem, Axem, and Farmer Nash often. I enjoy those.

I totally forgot about the spawn in the Holy City. Sure wish they would
turn it on.
BTW, I have done most of the quests also. Hope to work on some more
when I have more time.

I believe I have done them all.

They were all super easy and uninspiring.

I've done most every quest, and the best reward for a little work is the Goblin Slayer medallion.

Alot of them provide items that can be used as deco, so the non-decorators have little incentive for most of them.

Like one person said above, the Axem quests are nice because the quest items needed appearver often in standard loot.

The Tier 2 - and tier 3 - have quest items extremely hard to get and in too large of quantities in relation to the reward (i.e. Maddening Tentacles and Gargoyl undead horns spring to mind - 10 of each!).

I don't know if peeps are aware, but the Bladeweaver quest reward items vary in distance and Throw sill ( i have 4 of them ranging from +6 to +10 Throw Skill).

I love th eleven feather & flute quest - the elven fletching is a totally worthless ingred IMO; conversely, some of the craft quests ask for very rare items (abmyssal cloth or cryst blk rock) in retuen for less valuable ingreds.

Overall - very pleased with number and variety of quests:)

I agree with your feedback 100%.

My favorite quests are from Percolem the hunter. I love the idea of books as rewards, but wish the high end (tier three) hunter quest that actually works would give more than a single relic fragment, especially considering that they're still relatively easy to obtain through other means.

But it's still nice to have a quest reward which is worth more than anything the old quests had to offer.

I did the Sliem quest exactly once because I wanted an essence box. But the reward doesn't match the value of what he asks for in my book.

The underworld quests are very easy, but we (United Pirates, Catskills) did those quests with no armor/NPC bought weapons and had a lot of fun that way. For a fully geared character, they're pretty much no-brainer quests.

Tina, maybe it would be hard to do this poll without posting spoilers, but, don't you think there should be some sort of spoiler notice since the rewards posted aren't suggested until you actually complete the quests for some of these? Just saying :p ... er, maybe next time just put up the quest names and quest npc names.
