Which shard has the largest Trammel population?

I think it's time I come back to visit a production shard. It's been so long since I able to join a trammel guild. Soulstones should be a great way to hide what my true skills are.

I miss being able to hang out in or around the trammel town inns to help sweep items off the floor, in between characters logging in and out. I miss being able to steal from my guild mates (who aren't even expecting it)...and most of all I miss being able to loot entire guildhouses.

Let me know what shard has the highest Trammel population as that will be the shard that gives me the largest mark pool.

Didn't they make it so that if you joined a guild specifically to cause grief on them a bannable offense?

I play on Great Lakes and while it may not be the most populated shard for Trammies, it certainly has to be at the top for stupidest.

Why would they do that? It's up to the guildmaster to protect his guild. If they let me in...it's not like I'm exploiting or anything. I am using the game mechanics they way they were designed...la

I just remember some big stink a couple years ago about players joining Trammel guilds with the sole intent to kill them and loot them. It was tip toeing on that "non-consensual PvP" thing by being able to freely attack a guildmate without his/her persmission.

I agree that if it is a game mechanic then it should be allowed, but luring monsters is a game mechanic as well.

On a side note, I would like to see each shard's population numbers. I'd like to see how individuals log in to each shard each day.

Rico, it's hard to say. Housing on most US shards indicate a higher population than is active. I bounce around occassionally, probably Atlantic the most "active," though as long as you're not on one of the "newer" shards (Origin, Lake Austin, Legends) it all comes out about the same in the wash.

Players can have recruitment guilds to try out members on an isolated guild, and also rank privileges, and the GMs own savvy, so I'd be surprised if anything further needed to be changed, or has been. I'm sure even forensic IDing a player still shows if they're in the thieves guild, and you can also view their skills on MyUO.

Think Rico might be mad at me now for giving too much away to his victims though

Not at all, however...one can join the thief guild...drop stealing, and then stay in the guild so you can use the disguise kit....You know...so you can use it for roleplay? *wink*

Oh, and the more I think about it...I already have a bunch of thief characters I have worked up over the years. I'll just use them...no need to work any skills up most of my thieves have stealing, snooping, hiding and stealth worked up...so I'm good...la
